奧爾巴尼中央公寓

Perfect location for the town sights and many within easy walking distance. We were there for the Christmas Parade which was great... We have stopped at the apartments before so we knew what to expect, although a couple of things were missing on arrival but quickly sorted early the next day by responsive staff and management. Comfy beds and good basic kitchen, with outdoor BBQ in Unit 3 which fitted the bill for us. However, the outdoor furniture was very dusty and needed to be wiped down before we could use it and we had to ask for the BBQ mat as there was not one provided. It would make sense to remove the seat covers indoors when not in use, to avoid them getting dirty.

We booked an apartment to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. We requested “wheelchair accessible “. We we given apartment 1, very tiny. Entrance on street with 2 steps. Could not get mobility walker in ,room was too small to use. We left after 2 days, paid for 5, we requested a refund. The owner was not interested in helping us as we did not book direct. We booked through an agency, but he accepted our booking and payment. Also room was very moist with humidifier working. This was not good for our asthma. Totally unsuitable for us. Think seriously before booking here. On the positive side room was meticulously clean and kitchen well fitted out.

Stayed in spacious, cosy upstairs apartment 4. Self-contained, own laundry and had everything that we needed. Well equipped kitchen. Great to have large comfortable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Short walk to main street and cafes, shops, markets and restaurants. Lovely character, modern, nice views and high ceilings. Owner was helpful and efficient with communication. We would happily stay again.

We spent 5 nights in apartment 2. It’s a good size, lovely high ceilings, very nicely kitted out with quality fixtures and fittings. The area was quiet day and night and the location is excellent, a couple of minutes walk from the Main Street and 5-10 minutes from a choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes. One small gripe was the noise from the air conditioner being used on and off during the night by the apartment upstairs. Our bedroom window was locked slightly open and there was no getting away from the noise as the split system is only a couple of metres from the window on the ground floor. A couple of chairs outside to sit on with only a view of the car park and street. But the magnolia trees are magnificent.
