"Lovely place and location of the property… could not believe Allepy had such good property which is very next to backwaters, the view from the room is excellent… lovely food… Best part is we met Emu and Ema they were so closely interacting with us, and this made kids friendly and enjoy more… love to stay at this place again and again… Hospitality of the staff starting from entrance till the exit was so excellent, they were so humble and kind… This was first time where a guest relation Manager(Ms Kavya) walked us till the room and explained about the property. Loved UDS… Loved Allepy"

"We visited Lake Canopy during peak summer with family, and though the heat was definitely intense, we still had a really great experience. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, especially if you get a backwater-facing room—the early morning vibe there is peaceful and totally worth it. The pool was very clean, which made a big difference in the heat. There were quite a few activities to keep us engaged like cycling, indoor games, and a shikara ride which we really enjoyed. We even tried a bit of fishing, which was a nice experience. Food was consistently good—breakfast had a nice variety, and both lunch and dinner were very tasty. What stood out the most was the staff—they were very hospitable and always helpful without being intrusive. Overall, despite the summer heat, it turned out to be a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend for a calm backwater experience."

We had truly rejuvenating experience at the Ayurvedic Spa. The staffs were professional, warm, and attentive to our needs. The only area that could use some improvement is the bund around the restaurant. "

"We had the very best 3 days staying at Seclude by the Lake. The staff are so helpful and friendly, organising our excursion on a boat cruise, massage and canoe trip on a traditional wooden canoe. The chef makes delicious tasty meals, and there is 24hr security on the property. The villa is very clean. The view from our balcony is magnificent and it was wonderful waking up in the morning to a gorgeous sunrise, watching the fisherman pass by, and seeing all the bird varieties. We cannot recommend Seclude by the lake highly enough!"

"Highly recommended - 1) the check in process was super smooth and the location was also very accurate. 2) the staff were very friendly and co-operative. 3) food was unlimited & was tasty too with a mix of south & north indian dishes. 4) rooms were of premium category and didn't seemed like it was present in house boat. 5) evening boat ride is a must if you want to enjoy sunset from the backwaters. Suggestions- 1) the water for washroom & bathing was some sort of salty in taste, it will be better if they provide fresh water. 2) while booking please opt for 24 hour ac room, we by mistake book 9-6 am ac room but later upgraded. Thanks for their co-operation."

The houseboat was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with large glass windows offering stunning views of the calm backwaters. The crew was incredibly warm and professional, ensuring we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the trip. The food was freshly prepared onboard and truly delicious — a great taste of authentic Kerala cuisine. Even during the monsoon drizzle, the atmosphere was serene and relaxing, making the whole experience feel like a floating retreat. Highly recommend for couples, families, or anyone looking to unwind in nature with a touch of comfort. Would definitely return!"
