We have just left this place, it has lot of potential to be a great and unforgettable destination but unfortunately is let down greatly by a few things. We arrived yesterday around 4pm, we were picked up by the free transportation from Sealine Beach Resort roundabout. This was great fun, essentially a 15 minute mini dune bashing in a Land Cruiser to get to the camp.. my children 4&2 loved it. When we arrived at the camp we were greeted by reception who checked us in and our bags were taken to our family tent. Despite being marketed as ‘sea view’ tents I don’t actually think any of them face the sea directly. The tents are nice enough, seemingly well maintained (apart from the tired bathrooms). We settled in and took a walk down to the beach which is only a minute walk, the beach is very beautiful with ‘instagrammable’ features. The Kabanas are nice, comfortable and well maintained. We took a walk over to the Juice bar (which was shut the entire tjme we stayed) near the entrance to the camp and played some basketball on the sand, there were other activities such as beach volleyball, tennis and badminton however we could find any balls or shuttlecocks in the area. We then strolled over to check out the restaurant to get a drink, this was also shut and the dirty tables outside were full of dirty glasses and cups which we thought was odd. Because it was closed it meant we weren’t able to get a drink so we headed back to the tent to get ready for dinner service at 7pm. On the way back we noticed and bulb had smashed and glass was on the sand next to the restaurant, so we picked it up and moved it out of the way to prevent injury. We saw the sunset over camp which was beautiful, the camp is beautifully lit at night. The seating areas around the fire pits are great. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:45 and sat down at a table. Only one other table were sat down also. We did not get seated/given a menu etc for a good half an hour. We didn’t have a drinks order taken for 45 minutes despite asking multiple times. It quickly became a little busier (all tables outside taken) and people who arrived after us had their orders taken and food arrived before we even had our food order taken. The team seemed to be managed by one lady who I feel clearly has no idea what her role requires. There was no management of staff, they did not know what they were doing. We ordered 3 drinks with her, they never came. She gave us a menu in Arabic when we are clearly not Arabic speakers. She did not smile, she did not come across as a friendly front of house person. We ordered eventually ( after about 1 hour of waiting )off the set menu as we had paid full board. We ordered : Rocca Salad, Caesar Salad, and Oriental Appetiser as starters. Mixed Grill, Pasta and Fish and Shrimp dish as our mains. Arabic sweets, French pastries, fruit platter as desserts. Our food arrived 1hr and 40 minutes after we ordered, we had two very tired and very hungry small children. No real apol
