It is a nice hotel of the Danat chain, hotels of this chain guarantee they do not disappoint you. But the biggest weak point of this hotel is the room is not noise proof at all. This place is family friendly considering its nice pool area, and the very reason makes this hotel super noisy. It felt like I was sharing a room with a whole family. Still, this hotel is nice in that its staff are very nice and accommodating, its pool area is nice and spacious. It is small but clean, and I liked its balcony too -- you can see Jebel Haffeet snaky road from afar. Its worth the money.

Es ist ein Familienhotel, das Danat Ain Resort in der Gartenstadt Al Ain in Abu Dhabi. Ich war während einer Emirate-Rundfahrt im Mai 2024 in dem Hotel, wo leider gerade das große Schwimmbecken mit den 25-Meter Bahnen renoviert wurde. Das Hotel mit seinen 216 Zimmern auf neun Etagen liegt in ruhiger Umgebung etwas abseits in Al Ain - zur Mall sind es zehn Autominuten. Und es ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Untergebracht war ich in Zimmer 516, welches Menschen, die keinen festen Schlaf haben, eher meiden sollten. Es liegt nahe eines Nachtclubs des Hotels, in dem gerne und lange gefeiert wird. Ich jedenfalls bekam bis 3.30 Uhr (Disco-Schluss) kein Auge zu und hatte mich über die lauten Drums (um 2 Uhr) auch bei der Rezeption beklagt. Mir wurde ein Zimmerwechsel angeboten und ein Gratis-Frühstück, welches aber ohnehin inkludiert war… Zur geräumigen Zimmerausstattung gehörten u.a. ein gutes Doppelbett, Teppichboden, Schreibtisch, Sessel und Hocker, Bettische, TV, Spiegel, Klimaanlage, Kofferablage, kostenfreier Safe, Kaffee-/Teebereiter, Schrank, Kühlschrank und ein Bügelbrett. Man hatte vom Balkon aus einen Blick auf die Gartenanlage und den Poolbereich. Das zugehörige Badezimmer war ausgestattet mit einer Dusche, Waschbecken, Toilette, Bd, Vergrößerungsspiegel sowie Duschgel-, Shampoo- und Lotionspender. Das Bad war sauber. In einem im Erdgeschoss liegenden Speiseraum wird das Frühstück angeboten. Es war reichhaltig und gut. U.a. gab es frisch zubereitete Omletten, Cerealien, Käse, Wurst, frisches Obst, sehr leckere Joghurts (Mango, Ananas, …), Kaffee (Cappu kosten frei auf Bestellung), gute Säfte, Brot, Croissants und mehr. Es herrschte eine lockere Atmosphäre, wenngleich das veraltete und teilweise abgenutzte Mobiliar und die dicken dunkelbraun gestrichenen Stützpfosten in dem Raum etwas von der Atmosphäre nahmen. Mit einem schön angelegten Familienpool im Außenbereich, einem Schwimmbecken mit 25-Meter-Bahnen, einer Poolbar, einer Liegewiese mit mehreren Liegen (und Handtuchservice) und Sonnenschirmen kann das Hotel auftrumpfen. Allerdings war das Schwimmbecken im Mai wegen Renovierung geschlossen. Umso mehr los war im Familienpool mit dem Kinderbecken , wo Schwimmen nicht wirklich möglich war. Etwas ungewöhnlich auch der Zugang zur Poollandschaft über die Fitnessabteilung. Der Service an der Rezeption war einwandfrei. Das Einchecken ging flott von der Hand und auch auf meine Beschwerde wegen der lauten Musik reagierte man (etwas) mitfühlend, könne aber nicht viel ausrichten, außer mir einen Zimmerumzug oder ein gesondertes Frühstück anzubieten. Das Hotel bietet ferner noch eine Fitnessabteilung, kleinere Geschäfte, einen Business-Bereich, einen fest installierten Internet-Platz und einen Spa-Bereich.

Today and yesterday (16 and 17 June 2024) I with my family had the pleasure of dining at your esteemed establishment and wanted to share my experience with you. Firstly, I must commend the ambiance and the service, which were both exceptional and truly befitting a five-star restaurant. However, I regret to inform you that there were a few areas where the experience fell short of expectations. During our visit, the portions served were insufficient for all the guests. I arrived at dinning area at 8:30 by then a dish like Quz with meat was over and was not refilled same with few desserts (sorry I do not remember the name, though I mentioned it to chef and duty manger). This led to some disappointment as we were expecting more generous servings, especially given the reputation and pricing of your restaurant. Additionally, while most of the dishes were delightful, there were a few that did not meet the high-quality standards we anticipated. In particular, [Kunaffah taste was bitter, okra sambar was hard, chapati- it was too hard] lacked the flavor and presentation we were looking forward to. Serve less dishes but quality one as the charge against it is huge. I hope this feedback is taken constructively as it is intended. We enjoyed many aspects of our visit and may return in the future with the hope that these issues will be addressed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
