哈菲特沙漠公園普拉生態度假村(Pura Eco Retreat, Jebel Hafit Desert Park)

Totally mismanaged with credit card theft. Location with potential. The prehistoric site is unique but recommend sleepover elsewhere. They charged twice every single item on the credit card. Lodging, activities, rentals, etc. They do not respond to emails or texts. Two months later they promised to pay back and never did. We ended up paying everything double the price! Tent included. A real scam by employees. We had alerted them while paying that we receive double charge notifications while paying, they said it is normal.

Nuestra experiencia fue muy decepcionante. Pese a que la burbuja (número 3) se encuentra en uno paraje increíble y recóndito en plena falda de la montaña, está muy deteriorada, es poco acogedora y nada práctica. El plástico de la cúpula está completamente rayado y lleno de cinta de plástico a modo de parches, por lo que intentar ver algo desde dentro es imposible. La burbuja además ha de estar permanentemente “enchufada” por lo que el ruido dentro es desagradable (no olvidar los tapones). También hacen mucho ruido los 3 aires acondicionados, que además de incómodos, son feos ya que se encuentran metidos en unos cajones enormes que hacen la habitación muy estrecha y poco acogedora. Dentro de la burbuja durante el día es imposible estar con el calor pues aunque se cubra con el toldo y se tenga el aire acondicionado puesto, es asfixiante el calor. La burbuja en realidad son dos unidas (se accede de una a otra directamente) una dedicada al dormitorio y otra con un pequeño salón con nevera y máquina de café. La limpieza y el mantenimiento también deja mucho que desear (juntas entre burbujas sucias, muchos parches por las paredes…). Pese a la gran extensión de terreno, las burbujas están pegadas, así que no hay nada de intimidad, no son discretas y se ve y se escucha todo. El moderno baño, con ducha, inodoro y lavabo, pese a ser privado, no se encuentra dentro de la burbuja, sino en un cubículo junto a ella, por lo que cada vez que quieres usar el baño tienes que salir de la burbuja. El desayuno lo sirven en la habitación y es amplio y variado, nos gustó. La carretera para acceder tanto a la recepción como a la burbuja es de tierra, está llena de baches y resulta muy tediosa. El único detalle positivo fue el pozo para hacer una hoguera (gratuitas las maderas, ellos se encargan de preparar el fuego) y las sillas exteriores para disfrutar del cielo (hay bastante contaminación lumínica no solo por la ciudad, sino también por las luces que hay en la montaña).

Endroit incroyable, dépaysant, calme. Très bon accueil, personnel gentil, à notre écoute, à notre service que ce soit à la réception, aux activités, à la restauration. On a apprécié le repas du soir et le petit déjeuner, très bonne cuisine. Tout est fait pour la détente et la contemplation. Nous avons loué des vélos pour une randonnée jusqu'aux tombes, excellent ! Je vous recommande cette extraordinaire expérience

Great desert resort and very reasonable in pricing. Breakfast offering is incredible and the resort offers many activities during the day and the lodging is comfortable with AC and decent facilities . The heritage tents have communal washrooms and ablutions whilst a little more money will give you your own dome or hut where you will have onsuite facilities . All the lodging comes with great Mountain View’s and seclusion

Wonderful location, you feel disconnected from city life here. Great staff including Qamar and Pradeep who were great at responding to requests. Do consider taking a headtorch if you are planning the DIY BBQ to avoid putting your car headlights on. The BBQ was a highlight for sure. Tasty food and fun to cook for yourself. The breakfast was wonderful - so recommend including that in your stay.

This was a beautiful place to stay, in the foothills of the Jebel Hafeet mountain. We were in one of the domes. The dome was exceptionally comfortable and the plunge pool a cooling treat. The scenery was absolutely stunning and very peaceful. Would really recommend the DIY BBQ! Breakfast the next morning was very tasty. Thank you to Qamar and Pradeep for being so helpful- nothing was too much trouble

A serene haven to escape city chaos and replenish the soul. My boyfriend and I cherished every moment, deepening our connection in this incredible place. An enchanting dinner and a leisurely walk added to the magic. Special thanks to the staff who made our stay memorable. Despite a time crunch, they ensured we had breakfast promptly, even delivering it to our yurt. Ahmed, Hassan, Qamar, Jiblal, and Abi – you all are amazing! Unfortunately, I couldn't recall the breakfast team's names, but you truly brightened our day. Grateful for your hospitality!

An amazing and unique experience! Had a fantastic weekend, completely disconnected from the rest of the world. The facilities are top notch, surrounded by the mountains. The room (booked the Dome) is spacious and comfortable, it includes a private terrace and plunge pool offering a stunning view on the mountain. Totally recommend the private BBQ and fire pit experience. The team is extremely helpful and kind, and ready to assist with any request to make the stay even greater. Special mention for Pradeep, Hassan and Qamar, they took great care of us.
