Zeer gastvrije en gezellige host. Geeft extra service zoals fruit wat je mee kunt nemen op bijvoorbeeld een hike, een kopje thee of koffie als je weer terug bent. Het heeft een gezellige gezamenlijke woonkamer met een open haard. Mooie kamers. Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Ligt in het centrum vlakbij de baai en de restaurants.

Nettes kleines B & B, welches sehr zentral in Akaroa gelegen ist. Alles in gutem Zustand und sehr gepflegt. Unser Zimmer war sehr ansprechend eingerichtet, aber mit den Dachschrägen eher auf der kleineren Seite. Für unseren Geschmack schmales Bett. Das Badezimmer ist sehr klein, es hat keine eigentliche Duschkabine sondern einfach einen Vorhang mit schrägem Boden und Ablauf. Die Pächterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Charming historic house with very friendly owners, who made you feel very welcome. We only had one night here, but the breakfast was excellent in the morning. Our room was small, limited space to put anything, no TV and the tea/coffee station is in the dining room. If you are tall, then ask for a room without a sloping ceiling. Lovely garden and right in the heart of Akaroa. Brilliant local museum to visit close by. The last part of the road from Christchurch (State Highway 75) is twisty and up and down with lots of bends - take your time if you are a nervous

Exceptional B&B in Akaroa, New Zealand, we stayed here for 2 nights whilst touring the South Island. The accommodation is full of character & very cosy. The hosts Wal, Rhonda & son Tom are very friendly & nothing is a problem to them. The cooked breakfast is one of the best I’ve eaten & the fresh fruit with homemade granola is very tasty. The location is in easy walking distance of the harbour front & restaurants. Don’t be put off by the fact it’s a B&B as opposed to a hotel, I’d highly recommend this place and would definitely stop here again … 5 star rating in my opinion 👏👏😀👍

De locatie is top, alles in Akaroa was te belopen.We hadden de kamer met aparte ingang. De kamer was niet heel groot maar wat er was was goed en een lekker bed. We miste wel een persoonlijk koelkastje op de kamer. Het ontbijt was ook erg lekker en de eigenaren zijn ook erg vriendelijk en helpen je graag om het verblijf nog meer naar de zin te maken.

A delightful period property, that is charming and comfortable. Tim and Jacqui looked after us from the moment we arrived. The house is spotless, the rooms clean bright and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, cooked to order and lovely coffee. Probably the best place we stayed on our 5 week tour of NZ. Some nice places to eat nearby. Glad the post got the room key back to you!
