Now this is an example of everything a “resort” should not be. Why the Westin would tarnish its brand with this place is a mystery. We rented 3 rooms here and this is a collective review of 7 guests, all of whom are unanimous in their opinion that from start to finish this place is an unmitigated mess. The rooms are large but not clean. Mouldy caulking. Dirty toilet seats ( one had dried blood on it ), and no wifi service. One of the rooms had a foul stench, and was uninhabitable, but the staff pushback prior to finally acquiescing to our insistent expectation we be moved, is mind boggling …… we were eventually relocated. Room service provided us with food that was inedible…… Breakfast was a chaotic disaster…… no planning for what was clearly a full house. Crowds of people milling around, pushing and jostling for food. The a-la-carte food was borderline edible, only because of the hunger induced by the inedible room service food from the night before. Clearly, the staff have had little to no training in how to manage the life of a hotel. Lots of lights and glitter…… but no way this place can meet a travellers expectations in a “luxury” category. Maybe they fly under the radar because of a dearth of quality places in the Pushkar area, but it’s hard for this reviewer to believe that. Westin needs to do some serious work to deep clean every aspect of this facility or soon the tarnish will surely turn to rot. In the meanwhile……avoid this place unless you are left with no choice, and desperate for a place to rest your head.
