Unterkunft war OK, aber das Frühstück ist verbesserungswürdig, nur schottisches Frühstück - Speck, Eier, Würstchen, Bohnen, … (zudem etwas fettlastig) - Lage direkt an der Straße, wenn man Pech hat, hat man die Fenster zur Straße. Parkplätze waren vorhanden. Gute Anbindung (per Zug) nach Glasgow.

We were Asian descent, English speaking sisters and made this booking based on excellent reviews. We were offended and bewildered by our treatment. On the plus side: facilities were good; ensuite double room was comfortable with tea making facilities, breakfast was fresh and vegetarian option was available, the establishment was clean throughout. Negatives: We were bewildered and upset by the attitude of the host who was perfunctory at best, not at all friendly or welcoming, very tight lipped, never smiled. She never engaged in any friendly chatter and we were not made to feel welcome. During breakfast we were not asked to help ourselves to juice and cereal, we noticed it and helped ourselves assuming it was included. we were not shown to our seats and then when we sat where we decided to, we were told she had prepared a different table for us. This made us feel awkward. We made sure we were well mannered at all times and said thank you on leaving. I would not recommend anyone staying here. We will not be booking again.
