艾克萊裡羅萊夏朵精品飯店集團(Akelarre - Relais & Chateaux)

Un week-end prolongé inoubliable. Tout était parfait. Le lieu, la chambre, les prestations et le personnel contribuent à une expérience particulièrement reposante et de très haute qualité. L'accueil chic mais sans pression, bienveillant sans obséquiosité, participe grandement à la qualité générale. Le lieu est splendide, les chambre somptueuses, et le restaurant parfait.

De verhouding prijs/kwaliteit is niet top. De keuken van Restaurant Akelare is een beetje saai, bijvoorbeeld de Foie Gras is leuk gebracht, maar als de lever niet goed schoon gemaakt is, is het niet fijn eten. Het probleem is dat je ter plekke moet attenderen op de minpunten, maar je wilt je avond niet bederven, de service in het restaurant is perfect.

I spent a few nights at Hotel Akelarre this past April as I liked the idea of staying onsite while dining at the restaurant. The staff was efficient and courteous overall but the general ambiance felt cold and stuffy. The room was great with a large sitting area, a walk-in closet and a large balcony. Although it felt a bit sterile, it was very comfortable and extremely well insulated. It was convenient to explore the coast and visit some of the other villages like Zarautz and Getaria versus staying in San Sebastian where you have to contend with parking challenges and traffic in and out. Overall pleasant stay.

Un très bel hôtel ..onéreux…à l extérieur de San Sebastian … 4 km Très moderne , très zen , très belle vue Manque quand même une piscine ou couloir de nage !!!! Un petit déjeuner , pas de buffet , mais ce qui est servi sur demande égale ou surpasse un buffet . Un début de journée chaque fois parfait MERCI à ….😘 Itziar 😘 d avoir é***é tous nos petits déjeuner par sa gentillesse , servitude , compétence et conseils . Si j avais pu , je l aurai reprise dans mes valises pour être là à tous mes petits déjeuner !!! Merci aussi à MIke … le vieux !! Pour sa gentillesse et son français parfait C est ça aussi , même si un hôtel est beau , qui fait la réussite d un bon séjour . Pour la directrice , j ai essayé d entrer en contact via MIke le jeune !! mais elle était toujours aux abonnées absentes !!! Nous n avons pas essayé le 3***

What a beautiful hotel! Very modern, great service (our concierge who showed us around was fab) and what gorgeous rooms. Floor to ceiling windows and amazing views, dressing gowns that actually fit and lovely quiet air conditioning. We absolutely loved our 2 day stay here. The michelin restaurant was a slightly different matter mind ....

Bel hôtel qui bénéficie d’une vue splendide sur l’océan et la campagne basque espagnole. L’architecture de cet hôtel situé sur une falaise s’intègre bien dans le paysage,la déco des chambres et de l’intérieur de l’hôtel est sobre, chic et froide.C’est un endroit confortable mais qui n’est pas très chaleureux. Nous y avons passé trois nuits et en dépit de la froideur ambiante nous avons passé un très agréable séjour favorisé par le calme et la sérénité de l’endroit. Le personnel est courtois et attentif. Nous avons dîné au restaurant de l’hôtel :Espazio Oteiza, bonne cuisine et produits de qualité. Petit déjeuner très varié , mais pas toujours de qualité ( pain qui ne semblait être du jour’ idem pour certaines viennoiseries)

La habitación, magnífica, sin objeción alguna, de las mejores que he probado, al igual que la amabilidad del personal. Dicho esto, y dado que por mi trabajo me veo en la obligación de visitar hoteles de distintas categorías y y en diferentes países, quiero comentar algunos temas: * El proceso de check in: no me cabe duda de que se quiere crear una experiencia de servicio, pero hay que pensar que en mas un caso el cliente viene cansado del viaje y no necesita sent**** en un sofá para que le sirvan una bebida mientras una amable señorita va y viene del mostrador a cumplimentar el tramite. Lo que quiere es ir a la habitación cuanto antes. Se puede ser amable y agilizar el proceso al mismo tiempo. * El servicio de desayuno en el comedor ha sido una experiencia muy poco satisfactoria, en términos de tiempos; el primer día, la espera para empezar a recibir de entrada el café fue poco admisible y obligó al jefe de sala a disculp****. Según él, habíamos llegado todos al mismos tiempo (¿tengo yo la culpa como cliente?) * el segundo día, otra espera de más de 10 minutos para para un café, mas otros 15-20 para unos huevos revueltos... a los que acompañaba un bacon que llegó con el café y que hubo que devolver porque estaba ya frío. En definitiva, un servicio de desayuno bastante flojo para la categoría del hotel del que hablamos. Por cierto, el camarero que me atendió me pidió que conservara los cubiertos en el cambio de un plato a otro... en fin, eso pasa en un restaurante de menú, no aquí. * la explicación de la habitación, muy amablemente dada por la persona que nos acompañó, quizá debería incluir aspectos prácticos (uso de la climatización, por ejemplo). * los precios del room service son desorbitados, incluso teniendo en cuenta la categoría del hotel; entiendo (o casi) que se quiera desincentivar los consumos en las habitaciones, pero creo que hay limites, También existen términos medios razonables que incluso ayudarían a prolongar la estancia media de los clientes en el hotel. En fin, hubiera calificado mejor la experiencia si no fuera por los fallos en el servicio de desayuno que en este nivel no son de recibo. Gracias por su tiempo en considerar esta opinión.

My take on hotel Akelere is specific to an issue that I had when I was staying there with my wife and kids, and how they dealt (rather not) with it. At the time of our stay there was a tiny camera on the TV in the bedroom (we had two separate rooms, both had the same TV that came with an embedded camera that is barely noticeable/top right of the TV frame) We only noticed it around 3:30 AM while in bed, when it turned on and emitted a green light. When we sat up and stared at it, it turned off within seconds. Although we were planning on spending an additional night, we didn’t feel safe, so we checked out in the morning. We told the receptionist and the manager about what we experienced. The manager’s reaction first was that there are no cameras in the rooms. So my wife and I showed her a picture we took of the room and the TV with the tiny camera, and then she said that she will look into it and get back to us. It has been 9 days since we encountered this unsettling experience. I am writing about this so you can all be aware of staying there. Not getting back to us as promised is disappointing.

Shockingly doesn't accept a small 1.5kg dog for our OUTDOOR lunch. It is the first luxury hotel/ restaurant that I have been to that didn't let me go to my lunch booking because I had my small pet. They said the dogs are not allowed in the whole hotel, even if the lunch is on their outdoor terrasse. 35% of the millenials have a pet and it is going up faster and faster. Live in your time and accept pets just like most of the luxury hotels do. If the pet is clean, calm and small, there is no reason to refuse it in a outdoor space, especially we had his bag to lay in.
