Ci sono stata ad agosto con mio marito L'hotel si trova a 10 min in auto dalla cittadina Agios Nikolaos L'hotel e' uno dei migliori dove siamo stati (e abbiamo viaggiato molto) La vista panoramica e' spettacolare, le camere sono belle e grandi, il personale sempre attento e molto gentile La colazione e' alla carta, molto buona con pane fatto in casa, dolcetti, frutta , marmellate e piatti salati cucinati al momento Noi ci siamo fermati anche 3 volte per cena perche' era il ristorante dove abbiamo mangiato meglio! sicuramente avere un cuoco italiano fa la differenza, era tutto ottimo. Anche la carta dei vini e' notevole Ci sono comunque molte taverne nelle vicinanze e altrettante ad agios Nikolaos La spiaggia e' un bijoux!! piccola, raccolta in un insenatura , molto tranquilla... peccato che l'acqua a causa di correnti di acqua dolce sia fredda, ma per il resto e' perfetta! Anche la piscina comune e' uno spettacolo, con una meravigliosa vista sul mare e le montagne dietro... non me ne sarei mai andata! unica osservazione che potrei fare e' che la camera all'arrivo era pulita ma poi ci sono state delle mancanze... ma ci tornerei molto volentieri! super consigliato

Wunderschönes Hotel in der Nähe von Akos Nicolaos. Für unseren 10-tägigen Aufenthalt hatten wir ein Classic Sea View Zimmer reserviert: herrlicher Meerblick mit Terrasse und sehr geschmackvoller Einrichtung. Es gab mehr als ausreichen Platz in den Schränken, einschl. Unterbringung der Koffer. Wir wollten uns in diesem Urlaub nur erholen, dafür war das Hotel für uns perfekt. Am kleinen Hotelstrand und im Pool waren wir teilweise alleine oder nur mit ein oder zwei anderen Paaren. Das Meer am Hotelstrand ist sehr kühl, weil es dort eine Quelle gibt. Im August war dies perfekt, zumal dort immer eine angenehme Brise weht. Das Restaurant Blue Fish bietet eine große Auswahl für Frühstück a la Carte. Auch fürs Mittag- und Abendessen sitzt man dort bei herrlicher Aussicht sehr schön, Essen und Service sind sehr gut, und die Preise sind denen in den Restaurants in Agios angepasst. Das Restaurant- und Bar-Personal ist sehr freundlich. Agios Nikolaos kann man bequem per Taxi erreichen (9 Euro). Außerdem kann man einen schönen Spaziergang nach Agios machen, der zum Großteil am Strand entlang führt (ca. 30 Minuten). Das Hotel ist klein (15 Zimmer) und familiär geführt, das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Besonders Christos an der Rezeption hat uns viele hilfreiche Tipps gegeben und uns nette Restaurants in Agios empfohlen. Das Hotel bietet verschiedene Ausflüge, von denen wir eine private Bootstour mit Minos Boats in Anspruch genommen haben (sehr entspannter Ausflug mit sehr nettem Kapitän). Ich war zweimal zur Deep Tissue Massage im Spa - beide Male bei der gleichen, sehr kompetenten Mitarbeiterin. Wir hoffen, dass wir in Zukunft wieder einen Urlaub im The Island Concept verbringen können.

Comme déjà spécifié, je résume dorénavant mes avis par des appréciations sur des points spécifiques du séjour. Nous avons séjourné 8 nuits dans cet établissement fin mai - début juin 2023, dans une chambre premium deluxe avec jacuzzi extérieur. - Infrastructures et standing : 9/10 (nous avons visité d'autres hôtels en allant y manger au restaurant et, il n'y a aucun doute, celui-ci est bien plus beau !) - situation et environnement : 9/10 (vues superbes depuis presque toutes les parties de l'hôtel). - chambre : 8/10 (terrasse super spacieuse et ensoleillée du matin au soir, par contre la porte n'insonorise pas du tout du bruit fait par le personnel de ménage qui son local à proximité... La salle de bain est un peu petite. L'équipement est assez sophistiqué avec des rideaux électriques etc.. ) - Literie : 9/10 (Matelas ET oreillers top) - personnel : 8/10 (ils sont tous très sympas mais irréguliers selon les personnes avec quelques imperfections ; il faut demander pour les serviettes de bain à la piscine, personne à voir à la plage privée, etc... ) - nourriture : 10/10 (excellent 'food & beverage', à prix doux) - piscine : 10/10 (superbe et chauffée). - Spa : pas testé car le massage réservé pour deux en couple s'est avéré être prévu consécutivement, et effectué par un homme. Nous avons donc annulé) - rapport qualité-prix : 8/10 (prix relativement élevé pour la chambre hors saison mais la nourriture et les boissons sont franchement très bon marché, surtout vu la qualité. Cela compense). Très bel hôtel dans l'ensemble. Notre séjour fut ponctués de plusieurs petits soucis comme notre aventure au spa ou la télévision qui marchait une fois sur 2, mais rien de fondamental. Dans l'ensemble, c'est plutôt pas mal et c'est sans doute un des plus beau (petit) hôtel de charme et de luxe en Crète.

Absolutely stunning hotel which has everything… glorious views, quiet pool, great bar, fabulous restaurant, chic rooms and wonderful staff. Definitely one of the top hotels we have been to in all our years of travel. Can’t wait to come back!

What a beautiful hotel inside and out. Our room had the most incredible view, lots of space and the comfiest of sun loungers by a long shot. All of the staff we came across wanted to make your holiday special from Maria to Nikos and the brilliant bar tenders (I’m so sorry I didn’t get their names) and the lovely housekeepers too. A very talented chef too. Amazing food! A calming, relaxing vibe about the place that is difficult to find and we loved it. We would definitely recommend and return to!

Just returned from a week at The Island Concept and what can I say... Our experience was fabulous from start to finish. All the staff really friendly, helpful and pay attention to detail. Our room was very well designed with a great view over the water towards Agios Nikolaos and the view from the restaurant towards the mountains was even more stunning. Enjoying that view whilst having breakfast was a great start to each day. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch & dinner at the hotel - the latter with some superb local wines. It was great to be able to choose between the pool or beach (water rather chilly) on lazy days and it's an easy walk along the neighbouring beach to the town. Ok, it's not cheap but you certainly get what you pay for.
