First of all, it’s not a beach hotel. The hotel is facing a noisy motorway. You must cross the road at the risk of your life to reach a dirty beach. The breakfast is a shame: 2 slices of bread and a small piece of omelet for 15 US $ ! If you ask for a transfer to (or from) the airport, they will charge you 200 cedis (35 cedis with a Uber). The staff is completely incompetent and possibly dishonest: they tried to charge me twice for the same bill. It’s really an horrible place. For the same price you’ll find a much better hotel with a good staff in Osu, for instance.

If you're looking safe budget hotel but with good quality this is hotel for you. Stayed for 2 days extending business trip and fully recommend the hotel. Friendly staff always ready to help. What's up communication works really good and if you need any help they are just at your door and solve any problem. If you place order in the evening the breakfast will be at your doorstep in the morning:) Lunch/Dinner may also be arranged if needed. You may also get first hand recomendation regarding transfer to airport, tour guys etc. You could feel Ghanian hospitality in La Sunset.

A friend and I, recently stayed at LA Sunset. This was Our first time to Ghana. The hotel is situated opposite Labadi beach, giving a fantastic continuous breeze, well needed. The rooms are nice with AC and very clean, with access to a fridge and kettle. The pool area is not big but its well maintained and very adequate offering shade and sun. Perfect for chillin. There is also a roof top area where you can relax and enjoy the views. The location is great only 10 mins away by cab from the main stretch. The cabs are so cheap and can be ordered through Uber or Bolt ( among offers) The staff are very attentive and bring breakfast to your room or the balcony every morning. The Manager 'John' is fantastic, the communication was excellent prior to arriving as the hotel offers a transfer service from the airport. He was always available if we needed anything, offering us great advice and guidance to enjoy our first trip to Ghana. He made us feel like we were home away from home. A credit to that hotel. Thankyou I would recommend a stay here as this hotel is very personal, secure, clean and in a great location.

Ii stayed at La Sunset for 16 days in October 2024 The hospitality was amazing. The room was amazing. The rooftop bar was brilliant . The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The facilities were clean and the bed was comfortable. I cannot fault the staff especially Eugene who if we asked him to do something for us he did it it with a smile John the boss and his wife Miriam were wonderful and so hospitable. John was very helpful.
