We stayed here from 8-10 Aug and have to change room twice due to room issues
First we requested for non-corner room but Front Office (FO) gave us 706 corner room. At night the room lighting very dim and we barely can read anything. Room condition were not clean as well. We requested for a change and “FO Evi claimed room was full” hence gave us smoking room instead and promised new non smoking room on next day. We changed room that night and room was much better with bright lighting and clean condition.
The following day, Evi from FO gave us another room at 537. To our dismay, as attached pictures, the room was totally dirty, the bed linen has many spots, blanket has many creased which mean housekeeping just flip over the used linen and reuse the blanket from previous guest. I went to smell the bed and it smell bad. The toilet washing basin also in dirty state which shows room was not clean at all. Flooring also feels dusty. The blanket and towels doesnt look like white color to me.
We came down to find Evi and requested for change of room. She agreed and asked us to wait for a whole. We waited for half hour and i asked again, she said room was being clean by housekeeping. I told her i wanted room change not room to be clean up. She made us wait so long and ignored our request. She also never bring up the case to duty manager.
We asked to meet duty manager but she said room was full hence asked us to wait for our “dirty room” to be cleaned. It was totally unacceptable to let guest wait so long for housekeeping mistake.
We insisted to meet duty manager Robert and asked for room change. It took us awhile to get to Robert.
Suddenly they have another available room and the so called “room was full” lie was exposed.
They brought us to room 906 and again a corner room. We accepted the room and went into the room and find the room full of stench smell. We requested for another room and Robert help to find us another room. Surprisingly theres one clean room at level 11 thats available for me to change.
Why we have to go through all this, waited over an hour just to change room. The hotel cant even provide a basic clean room for guest to use. The FO is full of lies and slow, never report to Duty manager for such cases and tried to bluff the guest that room was full. Totally disappointed with the FO and housekeeping team. Honestly this hotel doesnt deserve 4 star at all.
P.S hotel lobby full of mosquitoes while waiting for an hour when changing room. Breakfast area in level 1 has some flies flying around. The spa room looks terrible and i had to find one outside thats much cleaner. Room soundproof was poor and can hear everyone walking past the corridor.
Would i recommend to others? No, Please don’t waste your money here and being fed with many lies
