The Overlook Guesthouse is a gated 815 square foot studio plus 276 square foot porch with 1,110 square foot deck (2,201 total sq ft of outdoor/indoor living) with a private driveway completed in 2023. Large marble island, kitchenette with marble countertops, queen size bed plus comfortable full size futon bed, desk, and table. Nestled behind a gate, this Casita has views from the Bay Bridge to the San Mateo Bridge, mountain views, and a view of San Francisco. Quiet, secure, and very private including your own private yard. Your closest neighbor will be approximately 200 feet away. This is a very quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors including law enforcement officials who are often seen outside washing their vehicles or BBQing with their families. We are 10 mins from BART and 10 mins from Cal State East Bay. We live in the main home approximately 200 feet away. The lot has 24/7 video recording on premises which is monitored to detect unwanted parties/events, and we are available anytime for any issues that may arise.Maximum four guest allowed. Additional guest require a charge of $25 per person per night. No smoking/no parties/events. $1,500 fee for violating smoking rule or having a party/event. The studio Casita sits on top of 1.4 acres. Castro Valley is the best location in the San Francisco Bay Area as far as weather and convenience are concerned. It is also one of the most convenient locations for all of your travel plans including easy trips to San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Napa or Sonoma Wine Tours or any number of Theme Parks in the area. You can walk to grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, theater, library, etc. We are also very close to shopping areas, parks, theme parks, hiking trails, outlet malls, groceries stores, Levi's & ATT stadiums and the Oracle & HP arenas and easy freeway access to freeways 580, 880 & 238. You can get anywhere in the Bay Area quickly. Enjoy the charm and comfort of this recently remolded yet it still maintains its older charm home. We really enjoy living in Castro Valley because it offers many advantages over any of the big cities (San Francisco, San Jose & Oakland) in the Bay area. Here's why. San Francisco is often clouded over in a thick fog. Castro Valley enjoys far more clear skies and warm sunshine. Parking is a major problem at most San Francisco properties. It's never a problem at Crescent Avenue. Castro Valley is very safe and clean unlike Oakland for example. Castro Valley has small town feel and everything is within a walking distance unlike San Jose vastness and nondescript character with its many office buildings and warehouses. If you would look at a map you will find that we are in the center of all of the sightseeing activities and freeway access is much easier from our location than fighting the bridges of San Francisco. We are less than a mile from 580 freeway access so you can still drive to near by the cities of San Francisco, Oakland, Palo Alto and San Jose or take the train (BART) which is a walking distance from our home, so drive/walk and enjoy the sights and attractions that the city of San Francisco and other cities in the bay area offer. Most people spend a day or tow checking the City and the rest of the time they visit places like Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley, Monterey, Carmel, Santa Cruz, San Jose, Livermore outlet mall, Pleasanton or even Yosemite National Park and Lake Tahoe. 總體上非常滿意，性價比很高。第一次住這種設計，感覺老闆很聰明，90平的房子做出6個房間，還都有獨立衞生間，大門密碼鎖，放心。房間設計恰到好處，乾淨整潔，温暖舒適，熱水管飽，沒有異味，毛巾雖然一次性但也夠用。離車站就100多米。每個房間設計和價格不同，我這個還有桌椅小沙發小茶几，佩服老闆的構思，用心了，贊。

這次入住體驗太棒了！一進房間就被清新淡雅的香氛氣息包圍，不刺鼻不濃烈，彷彿置身於自然花園中，瞬間讓人放鬆下來。空調現在調成製冷了，客用品品質也相當出色，洗漱套裝是知名品牌，香味高級，洗髮水護髮素用完頭髮順滑不乾燥；毛巾柔軟蓬鬆，浴袍親膚厚實，細節之處盡顯用心。電視超大超清晰，投屏功能超方便，躺在床上就能暢快追劇，簡直是“懶人福音”。隔音效果更是一絕，關上房門後，外面的走廊動靜、隔壁房間的聲音都幾乎聽不到，能享受完全靜謐的私人空間。硬件設施也沒得挑，房間裏配備小冰箱，設計貼心又實用。這次入住體驗堪稱完美，強烈推薦！

建議換房嫂！！！第一間房打掃很不乾淨，耳機掉床下找耳機時，看到了用過的...（見下圖），看到後第一時間聯繫酒店，酒店負責人第一時間聯繫換房，第二間衞生狀況沒有第一間差，但是也不是很好，衞生間裏有上一住客用過的牙刷。。。 但是有提供一次性毛巾、一次性馬桶墊、一次性拖鞋，這個還挺好的。 設施設備不是很好，缺乏維修，很多壞的設備，趕緊換房嫂吧，希望可以有所改變吧，

我真是感覺，太原的消費是真貴呀，南站附近像樣的酒店至少都是三四百，連7天這樣的都要200多，漢庭五六百，我在南昌住的7天120左右。在我自己的心裏承受範圍之內，我就找到了這個價格相對可以接受的、評價還可以的、南站附近的個人經營的酒店，在南站附近居住，看你追求什麼，實惠的話可以選擇這個，要求太高的人就不推薦了，主打的就是南站附近的性價比。之後在山西玩的時候，搞得我在太原周邊玩都不敢在太原停留過夜了！

這次入住體驗太棒啦！一進大堂，就有工作人員熱情迎接，辦理入住迅速又貼心，還幫忙升級了房型。房間乾淨整潔，床品柔軟舒適，晚上睡得超香。酒店餐廳的早餐豐富多樣，中西餐都有，味道很不錯。健身房器材齊全，滿足了我日常鍛鍊的需求。周邊交通便利，離地鐵站和商場都很近。強烈推薦這家酒店，以後有機會還會再來！

我在網上看到這家評論特別好，就來這家了，老闆娘接待的我們，非常熱情，老闆人也特別好，出來進去的都是噓寒問暖，每次都是笑臉相迎。酒店離腫瘤醫院近，探望病人很方便。床睡着很舒服，房間乾濕分離也特別好，有需要訂房的朋友，我推薦來這家。

出去玩的話一般都選擇全季酒店。這次來太原還是選擇全季酒店，位置非常好，鐘樓街、食品街、柳巷步行十來分鐘。酒店門口打車出行也方便。酒店大堂是熟悉的香味，房間是熟悉的格調，服務也是一如既往的貼心。而且很靈活，能夠合理滿足不同的需求。

首先說位置，小區位置不錯，很好找，旁邊的薛阿婆物美價廉。但是這個單獨隔出來的二號樓就不太好了，入口在背麪，一單元側邊就是垃圾堆，正對麪是飯店后廚，到了飯點油煙機抽出來的味，唉。 另外停車不能進地下車庫，千萬別進，我反覆問房東，他說可以，30度陡坡我開下去進不去，才說得停小區裏面，**，自動擋手剎拉到頂還往下出溜，兩車道不能掉頭，好不容易倒上來，還差點撞牆上。小區裏面停的話進去你就出不來了，不過還好，晚上馬路牙子上麪就能停，我停了，也沒違章。 樓道環境不太好，這個可以理解，畢竟是專門隔離出來的一幢樓，最難理解的是牀單被煙燒好幾個窟窿，一角點着了撲滅的痕迹還在，你好歹洗一洗呀。廚房好像剛做完飯，還有味。三個房間都不暖和，空調有一個還是壞的。 本來是過去體檢的，想着酒店不如民宿安逸，還能打麻將放鬆心情，結果一家五口沒一個睡好的。 跟房東聊天，房東說應該是保潔瞎整，可能吧。另外途家說讓房東開票，房東說讓途家開票，我也不知道找誰，衹好不開了。
