Stroll from the surf club along the beach and take in the wonder of the wild west coast, the scenery is spectacular!Your accomodation provides the gateway to any number of incredible bush and beach walks or simply stay home and soak up the ambience of your bach with its landscaped garden and native flora. If you've got kids then they're going to love boogie boarding down the awesome sand dunes on the edge of Lake Wainamu, there is plenty of safe swimming there too. For the more adventurous take a walk around the lake then cool off in the waterfalls.There's also rock fishing and the well known O' Neils surf beach within walking distance and a 10 minute drive will take you to the Waitakere golf club with its amazing bush backdrop.Through the winter, take one of the many local walks and return home to hot chocolate and a warm fire. Or alternatively, head to Henderson (20 mins drive) where you will find wave pools, movies, shopping, Crystal Mountain (theme park for kids) and other activities.During the summer months sample some renowned West Coast food and drink at the Bethells Cafe.Special conditions: Please note that cellphone coverage is not great at Bethells. Located in an elevated position on the southern end of the Waitakere ranges, this quiet location provides easy access to the many walking tracks in the area. Walk to the Arataki Visitor Centre along a picturesque bush trail, or walk in to Titirangi along the historic pipe line track.Titirangi village includes cafes, shops and and an art gallery. Good bus and train links throughout Auckland.West coast beaches are a short 30 mins drive away.Extras: Cleaning (included); Linen (included); Stays of 7+ nights automatically receive a 10% discount. Stays of 28+ nights automatically receive a 15% discount.A good sized main bedroom includes one Queen sized bed, side tables, chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The second bedroom includes two single bed with side tables. A third area has two single beds that can be joined to make a king sized bed. This area can be screened off and make room for two more people to sleep.The dinning area has lovely bush views for you to enjoy.The kitchenette includes an induction hob, small electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, electric fry pan, good sized fridge and freezer drawer, coffee machine, sandwich maker, toaster and jug.
