English Language - 5/10 stars. Compare to Ho Chi Minh City hotel staffs, Sandals Camellia’s proficiency is basic but still acceptable and good with me. Because if you travel to the other shops around the hotel buying stuffs or having a meal it will be even worse! Only a few shop owners can converse in English and many aren’t patient in communicating though they are still friendly and approachable. Price - 10/10 stars. Dalat City Hotels seems very much competitive against hotels at Ho Chi Minh City. For the price paid, the service, amenities and breakfast compared I like it the best and very much better! If you’re not into Vietnam shopping, you should visit Dalat instead! For me I’m a nature and scenery lover! Dalat highly recommended over Ho Chi Minh City! Service - 6/10 stars, basic taxi calling service is there. But unlike Ho Chi Minh City hotels, there’s no Hotel Tour Service. Most of the staffs aren’t also very familiar with all the places of visit either, but they are all very approachable friendly and helpful, and try their best to google information for you for instance the address. If you visit Dalat, you’ve to ownself conduct homework at home before traveling there on what places of interests to visit. Also google doesn’t tells every single places of interest in Dalat. You need to ownself travel to the tour office to book a local taxi driver, whom then has the knowledge of their own city, he’ll will guide and show you and recommend you places around Dalat. But prepare to learn some Vietnamese as many tour drivers couldn’t communicate in English but fret not, as google translate is your friend and everyone there has a smart phone. The Dalat people are mostly jovial, approachable and friendly. Breakfast/Food - 10/10 stars, Excellent I like it! I’m a buffet and Pho lover. For the price paid I’m extremely satisfied! Bed - 9/10 stars, didn’t gave it a perfect 10 score rating as I’m a person who prefers thick and hard pillows. Aircon - 7/10 stars. Acceptable. The Aircon is working good and cool enough. Toilet - 7/10 stars excellent! There’s warm water readily available, and ample showering lotion and shampoo, and other basic toiletries. The water from the handheld shower head is good and nice not weak flowing. However the missing 3 stars is the likelihood of a very wet bathroom floor. Basically it’s a Walk-in Shower design however it’s build as Curbless. The benefits of having Curbless is to benefits elderly and senior tourists who require mobility aids such as wheelchair the ease of accessing the showering area, and no risk of playful kids running and tripping over the Curbed, therefore Curbless is safer and better. Problem is the slope of the floor don’t seems right… the floor of the shower isn’t lower than the rest of the bathroom therefore water isn’t easily contained within the showering area and kept spilling to the rest of the bathroom floor, making a very messy toilet, unless you take special care to use a less strong spray and ensure you don’t accidentally spray outwards to prevent mini ponding to the rest of the bathroom floor. Also as mentioned earlier the Shower Head has nice strong spray, the drainage floor trap can be a little floody as water isn’t drained out fast enough… Sound Proofing - No comments….. 3/10 stars. Unfortunately I’ve encountered very noisy neighbours during my stay, who slam their doors as they enter and exit their rooms even late at night. Also since the hotel is situated near a busy road, you can hear lots of horning and motorbikes speeding by even at night. Other amenities - no reviews for mini bar or laundry service as I didn’t use them. Overall rating - 7/10 stars highly recommended!

酒店看起來是舊殖民風格,有很多古董文物。大部分地區都很髒,沒有人照顧。老闆應該僱一個人照顧美麗的文物,汽車等,非常罕見的碎片。我們住了2晚,但我們的房間沒有人打掃,甚至我們從13.00pm出去差不多半天,在21.00pm回來我們的房間,我們的房間外面掛了標誌。當我們提到時,工作人員確實道歉。看到的員工很多,但沒有人可能在房間巡邏,大多我看到放鬆。早餐兩天只有麪湯和相同的水果。我相信大供應水果到越南大部分地區,但這裏只供應腐爛的香蕉和越南蘋果。似乎沒有人監督工作人員工作時。我外出買水果很便宜。您的酒店是如此的好,但沒有食物和飲料的質量以及服務PS:我喜歡您的古董收藏

This was our first time in Dalat, and luckily found this lovely boutique hotel. The mix of French and Oriental vibes gives it a unique, Instagram-worthy charm, great for check-in lovers. Polite and friendly staffs. Hotel amenities are modern and spotlessly clean. We got a room on the 2nd floor, and it was just so roomy! You might hear a bit of city buzz at night if you're a light sleeper. That's not a big deal as you are right in the city center. Hotel breakfast is buffet affair with good taste, but the variety of choices might leave you wanting a bit more.

The worst service experience we ever had from a four star resort when we stayed at the Terracotta Hotel & Resort Dalat. The staff were incredibly unhelpful and unprofessional They seemed to be more interested in chatting with each other than helping guests. On top of that, no emergency procedures to assist guest in case of emergency. Staff and hotel management is pathetic , unprofessional services . To make matters worse, they put guest a risk when come to health and safety. We had an incident while staying Terracotta Hotel & Resort Dalat. During Feb/2023. Below is my cousin’s incident report of the horrible event. Mao Tri Hoa We included 9 seniors who were invited to attend a wedding party held at the 4 star Hotel&Resort 17 hectares foreign name TERRACOTTA DALAT. On 19-2-2023 we checkin 4 rooms. I'm in room 8711- my friend is in room 8721 and 2 other rooms same block. In the morning of 20-2-2023 at 7am we were preparing to have breakfast-My friend's name is Huynh Thi Bach born in 1942 (81 years old) in room 8721 going from the 1st floor to the ground floor had fallen 9 steps to the ground-because of the error in the design of the beautiful stairs which is not safe, especially for the elderly. Sister has a nose injury-face swollen-head bleeding. My friends heard a noise running out and found that the sister was lying motionless so they ran to help immediately, and I immediately called the reception - the script is as follows: -Miss-please send the medical staff to the emergency room because someone fell down the stairs- very serious injury. - The receptionist replied: There are no medical staff here - I said: So does the resort have emergency support staff? -Answer: There are no emergency support staff here either! - I said: So will I call the car to take the patient to the hospital? -L - Tan replied: No - the uncle called the car outside to take the patient to the hospital. 15-20 minutes later the receptionist called me back on the room phone: do I need to call the bus to take the patient to the hospital again? -I said:no need-(because I already called the car outside! ) And then she hung up and was safe with no extra support after that. Me and everyone in the group took Ms. Bach 81 years old to Lam Dong Provincial Hospital by self-sufficient car! None of the resort staff went in support of neglecting our elderly to self-deal . We-the people in the black area are grateful to Lam Dong Hospital for their dedication to heal-taking pictures and sewing the wounds on the head of the patient, for almost 3 hours-And we-the elderly are lucky because my friend is still alive and coming back to his family Saigon. We-extremely GRATEFUL 4-star Hotel&Resort 17 hectare Terracotta taught us a valuable lesson for seniors:When you want to learn to make it in a 4-star Resort, you must bring first aid-otherwise please at a simple motel-because if there is a stomachache, the host will also give a pill. Good hotel with great customer service, but food needed to be improve, much much improve. The Bún Bò was one of the worst I have ever had in this entire country. It was just sooo bad. The omelet was not better, tasteless and cold. Hotel owner please do ne a favor, get a new head chef asap in order to keep up your 4 star ranking. Guests who pay $60-70 per night will expect much better food quality.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT FOR THEIR EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE AND BAD ATTITUDE OF TEAM MEMBERS!!! Our family arrived on Feb 2, 2023 at 14h35 for check in and no room available!!! They asked us to WAIT (for 2 more hours) !!! And the worse thing is the attitude of the receptionists. We made 2 bookings for our family: • 1 booking they made wrong assigment: twin beds instead of double bed. Firstly they said it's our mistake and didnot listen to us at all. Only when we raised our voice and showed them our confirmation that they told us to WAIT 2 MORE HOURS FOR ROOM SET UP (It means we needed to wait until 4PM meanwhile the standard check in time is 2pm and its their mistake and even after we told that we're so tired after 7 hours driving here). • The another room we had requested the villa number when booking, and ordered joining twin beds. No room's ready at 2:40. No sorry but ”Wait”! We show our disappoinment of course. Then around 3.30PM they had room for us BUT IT'S WRONG ASSIGNMENT AGAIN! (We booked joining twin beds and they gave us only one 1.6m double bed! How can our Family of 4 sleep on that bed??) I said I want to talk with Manager( FOM or GM) as the Guest service Sup couldn't handle our case properly. We gave him our my phone numbers and he promised that his higher manager will be reported and talk with us. And up to now when i write this review (22:30), no one even care to keep their promise!! In the afternoon, they sent 1 plate of fruits to our room without saying any words or leaving any note (?). I did ask the receptionist, Mr Vinh said (with bad attitude): the hotel would like to offer us. I said ”I dont need it”. And he responded to me : ”if you dont want it, you just put it out of your room”. What kind of hospitality it is? THERE IS NO TRUE APOLOGY FROM THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT, Or it made me even feel THERE IS NO MANAGEMENT in this resort. No guest service attitude at all !!! In addition, the room got a lot of troubles : bathroom door cannot be closed properly (villa L3...), bathroom water is very weak and hot water comes suddenly; staff promised to order tuk tuk for her but it took more than 20 minues for that until I called again for that... Overall, we would NEVER COME BACK and highly recommend anyone who wants to come to re-consider!!! 民宿小姐姐態度很好，服務也很好。民宿一樓是咖啡店，可以點咖啡喝。早餐品種有點少，也還湊合。這個房型是公共浴室那種，洗漱台也是公共的，不過衛生搞得不錯。有三個房間共用的陽台，能看見大叻的彩色房子，風景不錯👍🏻大叻好冷，晚上睡覺更冷，感覺被子不太夠厚…可以多穿點睡覺。
