位置很好，離火車站挺近的，600米左右。火車站出門右拐走兩步就到了有名的廊橋。圖1是酒店門口的照片，裏面的尖塔就是圖2的八角水塔。 房間小巧精緻（有點侷促），很新很乾凈，沐浴用品浴巾看起來很新。mini水吧有一瓶果汁，兩瓶可樂，兩瓶啤酒，兩瓶不知名的酒都是免費的（貴有貴的道理） 前台帥哥美女都很熱情！入住即送免費市內乘車碼！

Note: I'm posting this after first sending it to the Monopol to allow them a chance for a fair response. They did not respond. We stayed in Monopol for 3 nights in late August 2024. The hotel is convenient to the train station. The room was OK until at 11:00 our first night we noticed a water leak dripping down from the ceiling...into my open luggage. Since there was NO PHONE is our room, I had to walk down to the front desk, and found no one there. A sign directed me to call (#61?), but no one answered. Went back up to the room and tried to clean up the mess. Went down to the a 2nd time...still no one there and no one answering the phone. 10 mins later we went down a THIRD time and finally found a clerk and another employee. Their solution was to offer us another room for the night only....we would not be moved into it since it was promised to another guest the next night. We opted to stay in our room so as to not have to move all our things for a just a few hours. The next day the front desk manager (Paul?) told us he fixed the leak. The next night the leak began again, this time by the bathroom door. It soaked the carpet and forced us to jump over the the soggy carpet to get into our bathroom. We informed the front desk, and the manager assured us it would be fixed, and said issues like this happen...”It's an old hotel” he said. He apologized for our inconvenience. There was no attempt to compensate us for the unsatisfactory room beyond an offer to give us a free breakfast the next morning, something we had already paid for. A staffer offered to throw my wet clothes in the dryer, but not to wash them from the funky water that dripped onto them. We got a meek ”We're sorry” when we checked out. We understand that an issue like this can affect any single night in any hotel. However, when the problem goes to a SECOND night, after we were promised it was fixed, then the lack of resolution is unacceptable. Our room was clearly not up to full price standards, and yet the Monopol was willing to charge us that much, and offer only a ”we're sorry” as a management response.

Great hotel with wonderful service!!!! The girls at the front desk were super helpful. Everything was clean and decorated well. Parking was super convenient!!! Right on the bus line. We would definitely stay again!!

We stayed one night in the Hotel Luzernhof Annex. Stupidly we put my jewellery in a location in the room that we felt would be a good hiding place - it was so good we forgot about it when we departed early the next morning. Much to my dismay I didn't realise until we were in the UK awaiting our flight home. An email later, my little jewellery bag was in the safe hands of the hotel staff who went and retrieved it from our room. The lovely staff then posted it to another family member in Germany. I am so grateful for their kindness and attentiveness to our stressful (self inflicted) situation. Their honesty and quickness of action brought much comfort to me as the items held great sentimental & irreplaceable value. Thank you to all involved. The room in the annex was clean, comfortable, spacious, ideally situated and a great price. There were plenty of food options nearby. Although it had a shared bathroom, it was super clean and provided all that we needed. My sincere thanks to the Hotel Luzernhof.

The staff were very welcoming. They gave us a free pass to use the bus and train system which came in extremely handy as the bus stop is right at the hotel. They also offered free e-bikes to use which were wonderful. We rode almost to the end of the lake. Such a beautiful ride!! The food was excellent at the restaurant and the views from our room, the lobby bar and the restaurant are stunning!! In the room, the shower does not have a door, so water splashes everywhere and they do not provide soap or body wash for the bath and they do not provide conditioner for the ladies for our hair. They also only provide water for the fist night. They also only provide limited coffee supplies and if you need more you are charged. Otherwise, it was lovely

Very nice hotel just across the street from the Vierwaldstatter see(Lake Lucerne) Pros: Great staff easy check in Great views from lake facing rooms, easy parking. Ok value for the area,comfortable bed. Cons: There was construction going on at the time of our stay. The rooms have no A//C, not a deal breaker but the room was sealed up tight and that first blast of stifling heat when we opened the door was unexpected. But they do give have a large fan unfortunately the cord would not allow the fan to be placed in the terrace door to help cool off the room. The breakfast buffet selection was plentiful but the cooked foods were merely OK at best.

My room was upgraded to a bigger room with two single beds. The service was very good and the room was clean and neat. Everything seems quite new. It takes about 8 mins to walk from the train station or bus station so a pretty good location by the beautiful lakeside. Nothing to complaint about!

I’m not going to say something is excellent if it was not that way for me. Tastes are variable and some Americans might not like the hotel. It’s very European. A lot of attention to conservation of water and electric. A green operation. I like that. The hotel is right next to the train station and a short walk to the river and Old Town. Rooms are small but tasteful and adequate. They are air conditioned. Not all hotels offer that in Switzerland. When booking you will be offered additional amenities. Take the breakfast for $20 a day but don’t pay extra for a balcony. The staff was friendly and excellent and ready to do anything you need. Again not always the way in Switzerland. Lastly, eat at the hotel restaurant. It is Ticonese Italian and it is excellent. Not to be missed.

My partner and I are staying in this hotel until tomorrow. We would be staying here for 5 days and while generally speaking it has been a nice experience not everything was as we expected. Pros: Lovely spacious bedroom Comfortable bed Lovely view from the balcony Reception staff are amazing and really helpfull specially Mia! She did suggested a lovely mountain to go to where I proposed to my partner Cons: Breakfast is extremely limited, while the food given does taste good, the variety to choose from is really limited, you'd expect a much better breakfast with a large variety for a hotel of these standards. The bathroom is spacious and clean but theres 0 privacy, if someone is going to the toilet or brushing their teeth your partner or whoever is in that room will know and hear everything as its an open plan bathroom. The shower curtain aswell is basically transparent which means anyone in the room could see you showering. I get the modern toilet they were trying to go for but it does not work. No kettle or tea While most staff were excellent there were a couple of bar staff that seemed a bit a bitter for some reason. Theres 0 soundproofing in the room, you can hear steps and bangs all day and all night. They do not provide any separate shampoo, conditioner, etc theres only a soap like container that I assume its meant to be for hair and body which is not ideal. Gladly I had read about this on other reviews before I attended this hotel and brought my own however it is not ideal. All in all our experience was a positive one however I would recommend some changes on the points I mentioned above.

We stayed in this hotel as part of a pre cruise with AMA Waterways. The location was excellent as we we able to walk to the center of town in 10 minutes. The staff was courteous and attentive. Breakfast was in the Mekong restaurant in the basement. The service and the food was good. The only complaint was the mildew smell in our room. ( 3303) . It was not just our room as we had other guests of our tour with the same problem. When we said something to the desk, they sent housekeeping up to open the windows to air it out. A temporary fix, as soon as we closed the windows and turned the a/c back on the smell returned . It so bad at night that we had to wash our clothes on the ship as they to absorbed the mildew smell. Lucky we only had a two night stay! Hopefully this is remedied.

房間很小，沒有空調，8月入住晚上熱得睡不着，開着陽台門睡沒有安全感，半夜又覺得冷，關了陽台門又覺得悶，一晚上都在折騰，雖然陽台可以看到湖景，但是沒有空調睡不好，那點湖景就顯得不值得了

Excellent food very slow service. My wife and I had a most delicious dinner at this establishment, but three and half hours is too long and that is without deserts and coffee. They should not accept walk in customers once they reach their maximum capacity. Compliments to the chef. The two waitress did their best under the circumstances.

I have stayed in dozens of Swiss hotels for over 60 years and found the Alexander pleasant but somewhat lacking. The Hasler family were charming. After a long journey, it was disappointing to find all 4 adults complain about a bad first night’s sleep and something as simple as the pillows being to blame. Despite the hotel having a pillow menu with options such as pine shavings, horse hair, sheep hair, millet seed and bees wax but nothing as mundane as foam, we decided to go and purchase 4 pillows at the Coop in Luzern! This did not make a great first impression and nor did the attitude of the receptionist with whom we discussed the issue who said it was up to us. As we couldn’t take the pillows home at the end, we gifted them in pristine condition to the hotel for the benefit of future guests - so please ask! This hotel is in a fabulous location overlooking the Vierwaldstättersee (Lake Lucerne). The rooms are a little tired. The staff are mostly very pleasant and helpful but sadly not terribly efficient. Self service breakfast is an extensive buffet with little to criticise except that dishes of fruit and scrambled egg were not replenished quickly. The 3 course evening meal was tedious in terms of awaiting service especially as we had a 4 year old in our party. We also found some strange food combinations and actually preferred the food at the sister hotel, the Gerbi. Even ordering A La Carte we found restrictive over the 10 day stay. The hotel offered a meat fondu and when we asked for that one evening we were told it couldn’t be done as our table was not near to an electric socket. The hotel charged for tap water (we also bought soft drinks, wine and spirits) which we found strange. Yet a tea and coffee facility was free on each floor - with free water! There were sometimes noisy building works taking place at the hotel commencing at 7am. The hotel pools and spa facilities were excellent. On days when the hotel had day conferences taking place it was very difficult to find a parking place! Spaces were reserved with plastic cones for delegates and I was asked to park further away below the hotel in a public car park.

很典型的歐式早餐，早餐的服務員態度很好。我們是帶小孩子一起出行，酒店加了小童牀。房間還有迎接點心和水果，感覺很好。酒店靠近湖邊，免費提供單車，我們還可以繞着湖邊遊走。雖然交通不便，酒店還免費送我們去碼頭坐船回去。酒店有泳池，孩子們玩得很開心。總體來說，還滿意！有免費下午茶🤗
