Experience a captivating visual arts workshop with Holly Winter-Hughes focused on the theme of 'Work' at The Hive in Worcester. This extraordinary event is part of the History in the Making project, a year-long program celebrating the rich heritage of Worcestershire and giving voice to underrepresented communities. The project offers an array of creative activities, including workshops, exhibitions, and the publication of an anthology. Generously funded by Arts Council England and supported by Worcester City Council, all activities are completely free of charge. Drawing inspiration from the remarkable collections at Worcestershire Archives and Worcester Cathedral's Library, experienced facilitators Oliver Bliss, Gerard Winter-Hughes, and Holly Winter-Hughes will guide participants through a series of workshops using creative prompts to inspire art and stimulating discussions. Participants are also encouraged to reflect on their personal stories and connection to Worcester. The project encompasses the Worcester Cathedral, Worcester Archive & Archaeology Service at The Hive, and the vibrant Sugar Daddy's Café, which all play a significant role in the city's history and will provide valuable context for the artistic creations developed in this community-focused initiative.
