Experience the joy of creating art as a family this winter holiday season at the Art Gallery of Burlington. Join us for our Winter Holiday Crafternoons: Matching Mugs event on Wednesday, December 27th, 2023, from 1-3:30pm. Inspired by our current exhibitions and the theme of FAMILY, this studio program will allow you and your loved ones to spend a cozy afternoon together, finding inspiration and creating exciting artwork.

During the event, you'll have the opportunity to make a set of matching mugs with your family. Our current exhibitions, including our mug collection, will serve as inspiration for your designs. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process of building a mug with clay, and then it's up to you to unleash your creativity using stamps and tools. Whether your mugs match perfectly or in a more abstract sense, they will be unique and special vessels to enjoy for years to come.

In the spirit of giving back to the community, we kindly request that attendees consider bringing non-perishable food and hygiene products to donate to the Burlington Food Bank. The demand for assistance with groceries has increased by 20% in our community, and we are collecting contributions to support the food bank's efforts in ensuring food security for those in need.

To ensure a pleasant experience for all, registration is required for each family member. Please note that cancellations or refund requests must be made at least two weeks in advance of the workshop date, by Wednesday, December 13th. This will allow other community members to take part if vacancies become available, as capacity is limited to 40 participants. Refunds requested after this date will receive a 50% refund, and no refunds will be processed on or after the workshop date.
