Village Books is excited to announce the return of Trevis Gleason and Emma Rogan to Bellingham for the event "Living Well with Multiple Sclerosis." Trevis L Gleason, the world's longest running chronicler of life with multiple sclerosis, has compiled a collection of essays that offer invaluable insights into navigating the challenges of living with chronic illness. This curated collection, edited by Emma Rogan, combines Gleason's nearly two decades of reflections on life with MS, resulting in a primer, handbook, and pocket translator all in one. With honesty, hope, and Gleason's trademark wit, this book emphasizes the importance of truly living despite the obstacles of chronic illness. 

Trevis Gleason, a trained chef, food scientist, and passionate writer, has made significant contributions to the field of multiple sclerosis. He has written for prominent newspapers, food magazines, and professional journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine and Lancet Neurology. Gleason's blogs, "Trevis L Gleason's Life with Multiple Sclerosis," are highly regarded and the longest-running MS works on the web. Currently residing between Seattle, Washington and West Kerry, Ireland, Gleason is a dedicated advocate for people with disabilities and serves on the Editorial Board for MS Ireland, as well as Cathaoirleach of Corca Dhuibhne Food Network.

Emma Rogan, a devoted mother and advocate, has worked with various European rights and service organizations for over two decades. Her commitment to diversity and inclusion in international policymaking for multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions has earned her recognition, including the 2012 Vodafone World of Difference Award. Currently residing in Dublin, Ireland, Rogan brings her expertise and passion to this collaborative project with Trevis Gleason.
