David Barnes is a master potter with more than 45 years' experience creating work, developing technique, and instructing potters. He is a generous and supportive guide who has helped hundreds of potters learn, grow, and develop their craft.
David joins us April 13 2025 for a full-day seminar on working with coloured clays and building gorgeous strata vessels.

David's gorgeous work is available at @BluerockGallery in Black Diamond, and Alberta Arts Council in C-Space in Calgary, as well as on line at www.eversfieldceramics.com  Inspired by the intricate layers of rock strata, David Barnes uses coils of different colours of clay which are then combined during the throwing process to create a marbled effect.
