In addition, we've welcomed numerous comedians from popular panel shows like Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats, and Would I Lie to You?, as well as a plethora of guests from BBC’s legendary 'Live at the Apollo’. Instead of the typical opener and two middle acts, our (not) secret (anymore) guest –Jeff Innocent– will take the stage as part of the middle and headline. With support from the fantastically bonkers Joey Page! 💥 JEFF INNOCENT He’s winner of British Comedian of the Year, Best Live Club Comedian and the Comedian’s Comedian. A comedian of legendary status, Jeff Innocent is now a social media sensation with his online videos amassing tens of millions of views. His second leg of his current tour  The Smart Casual  is selling out comedy clubs across the country. His unique appeal lies in the contrast between his East End ‘geezer’ appearance and demeanor, and his educated, philosophical delivery and subject manner, inspiring the Guardian to describe him as a comedian with ‘the body of a nightclub bouncer and the brains of a university boffin’. “Jeff Innocent delivers a masterclass in stand up comedy every time he performs  The Times  It should be made law that every British Citizen must go and see Jeff Innocent. SHOW INFO▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬📅 WHEN: Stand Up in the Basement is a once-a-month comedy night, always on the last Tuesday of the month. 🕗 TIMINGS: We aim to kick off the show at 8pm. There'll be an opening act, short break, two rising acts in the shorter middle section, another break, and we'll finish up with the headliner. The show typically finishes around 10.30pm. The bar downstairs will be open before and after the show, and the upstairs bar will be open during the intervals. 🏠 VENUE: This event is now (not in the basement, but) upstairs at Heartbreakers Bar & Venue, located at 7-9 Hanover Buildings, Southampton, SO14 1JX.
