This 101 course is designed to help mechanics understand a variety of services and procedures across the range of products we offer. Covering Rock Shox 50 hour services and theoretical deep dives, SRAM AXS pairing and fitting processes for road, gravel and MTB including T-Type, Brake stripping, servicing and bleeding as well as information about how, when and why we do these services. The skills you learn from this course are a stepping stone to more indepth training offered in our 202 training courses This in person training course is aimed at mechanics who have been working professionally for at least one year Succeed at servicing Why we service bikes and when we should do it, with special attention paid to service intervals of suspension parts and how this can generate revenue • Online resources o Trailhead o Service site o AXS App o AXS web • DOT Brake bleed and shortening How to correctly install our Stealth-a-majig barb and olive and the correct bleed procedure • Mineral oil brake overview Theoretical deep dive into our mineral brake • AXS Pairing and set up How to pair all components in a system, update and customise them using the app • Transmission Set Up Learn about how to correctly size, fit and customise Transmission drive trains • Powertrain Overview Look at our exciting new e-bike system, its auto shift and coast shift functions and how to pair and customise the system • 50 hour fork The correct process for a lower leg service • 50 hour shock A vital service to keep our rear suspension working as intended
