Introducing Self Tape Masterclass that would be extremely beneficial for performers of all ability’s. My name is Alex Draper and I star as Billy Hopkins in the BBC school drama series, Phoenix Rise - available on BBC iPlayer. I am currently acting on Eastenders, shooting a comedy/ horror feature film, to be released on Amazon and my previous screen acting experience is extensive. I trained at the Bafta Award Winning Television Workshop, Nottingham, and have been filming professionally from a very young age. I was also recently nominated for a Royal Television Society (RTS) award (Breakthrough Screen. The workshop sessions last for 2 hours and cover 3 key areas: 1. The Technical Side – this will cover lighting, positioning, equipment, etc. 2. Scripts - this will cover interpreting the sides, reading in problems, sound, etc. 3. The Acting Side – this will cover character work for screen & practice, practice, practice! This session is suitable for those aged under 16.
