Kate Evans takes us through a selection of images from the pages of PIX whose backgrounds and incidental details are as telling as the subject at the centre of the image. Who and what else do the cameras capture? Kate Evans is a well-known broadcaster, particularly as co-host of The Bookshelf on ABC Radio National, and a regular interviewer at literary festivals. Photography and cultural history have also been longstanding interests — her PhD focused on press photography in Australia.

塔龍加動物園坐落在山坡上，邊看動物還能遠眺悉尼港，是少有的風景與動物同樣吸引的動物園。園區不算小，地形起伏，但路線清晰，適合慢慢逛。動物種類不少，尤其是本土特色的考拉、袋鼠和鴨嘴獸，孩子們看得特別興奮。坐纜車上下還能俯瞰整個海港，風景好得出乎意料。

買一張藍山絕景世界的纜車通票就可以無限次搭乘Railway, Cableway, Skyway的纜車或火車，非常划算，幾乎垂直下降的小火車很有趣味，空中纜車俯瞰的風景則是終身難忘。Walkway木棧步道非常好走，兩旁有製作非常逼真的恐龍化石，我們選擇最長的路線，很悠閒的在藍山scenic world度過美好的一天。
