Dive deep into the world of kirtan as we unite through devotional music, mindfulness and embodiment practices, storytelling and chanting. It is our birthright to sing! Let's raise our voices together and co-create frequencies of peace and positivity that with the power of our intention we can transmit across the planet. What to expect: This will be an immersive day filled with authenticity and soul, from the deepest parts of you to the most ephemeral connections with community. Chant with some of Melbourne's most beloved Kirtanists in a cocoon of Bhakti - the Yoga of love and devotion. A nourishing community dinner and chai will be provided. Prepare yourself for an enriching day exchanged with kindred community. Heidi has a deep belief in the power of movement and sound, that we can weave our way through space with the vibratory energy we create and a beautiful sense of fluidity and expression that is profoundly unique to the body we reside in. Heidi's harmonium goes everywhere with her and Mantra is a huge part of her life. With a deep love of Kirtan and the Sanskrit language, she regards the vibration and frequency of sound as being some of the best medicine you can't buy. Sun Hyland - @sun_hyland - www.sunhyland.com Sun is a Kirtanist, songwriter & music teacher based in Australia. His heartfelt devotion to yogic practice combined with many years of experience sharing and teaching music makes him the ideal person to guide you on your kirtan journey. For the last 15 years Sun has been leading soulful and uplifting musical mantra & meditation sessions at festivals and yoga centres around Australia & beyond. Lulu & Mischka - @luluandmischka - www.luluandmischka.com Lulu & Mischka are musicians and messengers of peace, holding and opening spaces to feel, to be, to sing, to let go, to celebrate through their concerts, workshops, retreats and ceremonies. They have built a global audience over the past decade and touched hearts on big stages at festivals from Woodford Folk Festival to Bali Spirit and Barcelona Yoga Conference to grass root events that support local communities. The couple's music carries a frequency of love, unity and devotion, gratitude for life and a realness that radiates through their beings. Lulu's lush vocals inspire all hearts and their humble guidance invites listeners to join as one, to feel at home. The songs and prayers are sometimes gentle and meditative and other times powerful and celebratory.
