Try hand sewing in a session with Chelsea, also known as Holy Moly Textiles. This introductory class, "Introduction to Hand Sewing - IN-PERSON CLASS," will cover techniques such as sewing on buttons, repairing holes & hemming pants. Chelsea, a local seamstress based in Chattanooga, has over a decade of experience in making and altering clothes. She is passionate about personal style, sustainability & creative upcycles. You are encouraged to bring your own clothes in need of mending to the class. Each one of you will receive a sewing kit provided by the instructor. The event will be held on August 5, 2024, at The Chattery, 1800 Rossville Avenue Suite 108, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37408. This class teaches useful skills to maintain and revitalize your wardrobe, regardless of experience level or desire to extend the life of your clothes.
