Many of us grew up hearing phrases like  “save face,” “tahan,” or “talk properly”. 
These everyday phrases may seem simple, but they carry deep messages about how emotions should be managed. They reflect the emotional ‘rules’ we pick up from the cultures we’re a part of.
From family dynamics to friend circles and even the media we consume, we learn early on which emotions are acceptable to show—and which ones we’re expected to hold back. These cues shape how we express ourselves, when we seek help, and how we understand healing.
In today’s increasingly multicultural world, being aware of these cultural influences isn’t just helpful—it’s essential. It helps us support ourselves and others with greater empathy, care, and cultural sensitivity. Through real stories and open dialogue, we’ll uncover how individual cultural identity influences the way we express emotion, seek support, and understand healing. 
Join us for an insightful and complimentary panel discussion with our lecturers and students as we honour Racial Harmony Day by exploring how we reconcile our individual and collective expectations around strength, vulnerability, and recovery with empathy, care, and cultural sensitivity.

聖淘沙島挺不錯的，主題樂園有比較多的項目，侏羅紀公園，小黃人等。在島上主要是生態不錯，鳥類非常多，還看見了海鯉，孔雀和蜥蜴，就是住宿比較貴，飯店不提供早餐，其他還可以。
