Remember your favorite stories as a child? The faraway lands, perilous journeys with magical characters and fantastic creatures? The Fairy Tales Around the World art exhibit at Del Ray Artisans gallery celebrates the stories and fables that shaped us, from local legends to distant tales, from mythical beasts to heroes, villains and everyone in between.  Join us for the opening reception on Friday, March 7 between 7-9pm to meet the curator Courtney Pippin-Mathur and the artists. Mark your calendar now or set a reminder through Eventbrite (select the  Reserve a spot  button on this page - tickets are not required to attend). The Fairy Tales Around the World exhibit runs March 7-29, 2025 at Del Ray Artisans gallery in the Colasanto Center, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, Virginia 22301. Gallery hours are Thursday 12-6pm, Friday 12-9pm, Saturday 12-6pm, and Sunday 12-6pm (closed on March 2 and March 30). The gallery is free, open to the public, and accessible. Del Ray Artisans, a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote art for the benefit of artists and the community. 埃及希臘化時期的歷史建築遺迹，此處其它部分僅剩下小獅身人面像。地基的大平台還是保留着，更顯得這根柱子的孤獨。這是亞歷山大地標遺迹。

蒙塔扎宮

蒙塔扎宮又稱&ldquo;埃及夏宮&rdquo;、&ldquo;蒙塔扎宮花園&rdquo;、&ldquo;蒙塔扎花園&rdquo;、&ldquo;法魯克夏宮&rdquo;等，它是埃及末代國王法魯克的行宮，它位於亞力山大港東端一個廣大的風景區中。宮殿俯瞰着幽靜的海灘，周圍被棗椰樹林和花園環繞，建築融合了佛羅倫薩與土耳其風格，現為埃及國賓館。蒙塔扎宮1952年前一直是皇室家族的消夏避暑地，現海濱向遊人和垂釣者開放，王宮不對公眾開放。蒙塔扎宮公園是亞歷山大綠化最好的地方，面積很大。這裡是埃及人一家人出去野餐的好去處，也是情侶們攜手戀愛的浪漫之選。
