Join the Colours in Contact: Foundations workshop in Toronto on January 20, 2024, for an enriching exploration of form and flow in the world of Contact Improv. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this workshop is designed to help you build a strong foundation and gain confidence in your movements. Led by Pablo Perez, creator of Colours in Contact, this workshop will delve into the basics of Contact Improv while emphasizing creativity and presence in your body. Through a combination of structured exercises and improvisational movement, you'll learn how to integrate different types of movements and dance with others in a fully embodied way. The workshop runs from 1:30pm to 4:30pm, followed by a dinner and a Contact Jam from 6pm to 9pm, providing an opportunity to practice the skills you've learned and connect with fellow participants. The event will take place at Dovercourt House, located at 805 Dovercourt rd., Toronto, ON M6H 2x4. Tickets are available on a sliding scale, ranging from CA$65.23 to CA$86.53. All dance and movement levels are welcome. Come and experience the joy of dance and movement, and discover what it means for you in your unique body.
