Discover the wonders and challenges of watercolor while learning to capture the beauty of the Autumn season at the CAPTURING FALL WITH WATERCOLORS WORKSHOP in Exeter. This workshop is suitable for all levels and offers an opportunity to experience the breathtaking colors of Autumn in New England. Students will have the chance to work from observation and imagination, allowing them to truly embrace the process of creating with watercolors. The techniques covered in this workshop include the "alla prima" and painterly style, which encourage the paint to flow while still maintaining control and taking advantage of any "happy accidents" that may occur. To enhance the learning experience, photos and demonstrations will be provided. For those bringing their own supplies, a materials list can be provided. The materials fee for this workshop includes an instructional packet, paper, a watercolor portable palette set, and brushes to take home. Participants must be at least 13 years old to attend.
