Join the Second Thursday Reception at InLiquid Gallery in the Crane Building, Philadelphia, for the much-anticipated event, beLONGING. This group exhibition showcases the work of four talented LGBTQIA+ artists: Carmel Dor, THECOLORG, Abbey Muza, and Meg Wolensky. Each artist explores the concept of identity, delving into what shapes our sense of self and how we connect with others. Through mediums such as painting, textiles, and soft sculpture, these artists create a powerful dialogue that spans time and space, incorporating elements of mythology, poetry, archival research, and personal experiences.

Abbey Muza's tapestries and Meg Wolensky's paintings bring together fragmented pieces to form complete narratives, while THECOLORG's soft sculptures blur the boundaries between physical and digital existence. Carmel Dor's paintings celebrate the transformative nature of transition and the passage of time. Together, these artworks examine the intricate bonds of community, kinship, and desire, exploring the different aspects of belonging in both inherited and chosen worlds.

In addition to the exhibition, beLONGING offers an interactive zine-making station featuring materials from the artists, as well as a pop-up reading room filled with books and zines that reflect the exhibition's themes. These resources serve as opportunities for visitors to connect with one another and engage with the artworks on a deeper level.

This event is part of the citywide project (re)FOCUS, a collaboration among more than 25 visual arts institutions in Philadelphia, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of FOCUS, a groundbreaking exhibition of American women artists held in 1974. In revisiting FOCUS, (re)FOCUS showcases a new generation of diverse artists exploring gender, sexuality, and intersectional identity.

費城曾經是美國的首都，因此城市周圍有大量的歷史、博物館、紀念碑和遺址。費城藝術博物館擁有一系列精美的展品。我是在周五晚上下班後參觀的，因為週五晚上博物館免費入場（隨意付費）。我在他們的車庫付了停車費，只要 5 美元。

感覺費城的市中心的景點真的很優秀，自由鍾附近這一片古迹統一歸National Park負責管理，在自由鐘的對面便是一個大型的遊客中心，在這裏可以諮詢到費城的旅遊攻略，這邊的工作人員和志願者也都非常熱情的幫忙給旅遊建議和回答諮詢問題。在這邊也有個小型的紀念品商店，可以買到冰箱貼、本子、明信片等相關的費城紀念品。遊客中心中還設有展覽講解，雖然相比博物館會比較迷你袖珍，但是依舊不影響這邊的遊客數量，如果是自駕前來，獨立宮遊客中心的地下還設有停車場可以供大家停車。費城的市中心雖然停車不太方便，停車位也不是很好找，推薦大家來遊客中心的地下停車場來停車。如果是旺季前來，獨立宮的参觀門票是需要先來遊客中心申請領取的，不過不知道是不是疫情的緣故，前來的時候並不需要拿票，直接進入参觀就可

自由鍾

自由鐘的名氣自然不用多說，感覺跟獨立宮一樣可以成為費城景點的必打卡之處，好像每一次來費城，也會儀式性的重複進行打卡。兩者距離也很近，步行過馬路就是，展廳免費開放給公眾参觀，不需要購買門票，獨立宮需要提前在官網進行預訂，1元的門票預訂費。自由鍾是有獨立的一個参觀展廳，入口需要過安檢。可以近距離遊覽，可走到自由鐘面前，之前是可以環繞360度，但這次前來只開放了180度，另外一半攔住了，不過這樣的好處便是可以解鎖一個背景無人的自由鍾。自由鍾原本是獨立宮的宮殿中，而後由於鐘體開裂，才被陳列於草坪上的紀念館中。這次在遊客中心的展示台還虛席到了另一知識點，1752年運到費城時便初現了裂縫，而後經過幾次修補還是有裂縫，於是便放棄了對其的修整。而1776年7月4日敲響的也正是這個鐘。自由鍾也經歷了幾次遷移，雖然每次搬遷的位置都不遠，但人們還是擔心會有更嚴重的裂縫，還給鍾裝上了可以測試百萬分之一米移動的微變量位移傳感器，測試其是否適合搬遷，每一次遊覽好像都會解鎖不一樣的小知識點，這大概也是旅遊的一大樂趣吧。
