Tuttle will be discussing her captivating book, "Women Farmers: Pioneers of the Local Food Movement in the Granite State," written by Helen Brody. This thought-provoking book sheds light on the incredible transformations that New England women have brought to the world of farming in the last two decades.

Through her stunning photography, Tuttle showcases the modernization of the farming industry, largely driven by women, in New Hampshire. "Women Farmers" is not just a tribute to locally-grown food, but a revelation about the innovative products, marketing strategies, community engagement, and sheer dedication that women farmers invest in their family farms.

Furthermore, this book highlights how women farmers are increasing public awareness of our food and attracting a growing audience to experience and savor the abundant offerings of New Hampshire. Leslie Tuttle, an experienced photojournalist who has witnessed the challenges faced by hardworking women around the world, brings her unique perspective to explore the stories of these innovative women farmers.

We invite you to join us for this extraordinary artist event. Following the reading, Tuttle will be available for a book sale and signing. Light refreshments will be served. 自由之路的終點站這座位於波士頓charlestown的花崗岩石碑據說是美國最早的紀念碑之一，用以紀念英軍與北美殖民地民兵之間的邦克山戰役（好吧我承認我是現查的）現在這裡是波士頓的自由之路終點站，天氣好的話可以從波士頓公園一路暴走來～要想到石碑的頂端，唯一的途徑就是爬樓一共294層台階，每隔一段還標出数字，好讓氣喘吁吁爬樓的人心裏有個數碑頂其實只有小小的空間，但透過四面小窗向外望去，立刻覺得爬樓也值啦～
