All the Noise at Once: A Special Heal Together | Lead Together Event with Author DeAndra Davis In honor of Autism Awareness Month, join us for an unforgettable afternoon celebrating All the Noise at Once, the powerful debut novel by DeAndra Davis! This moving young adult story follows a Black autistic teen navigating friendship, self-discovery, and the world’s overwhelming noise. Note: While the book is geared for ages 14 and up, we welcome all ages to participate in the sensory activities and learn about the community orgs celebrating diverse stories and promoting autism awareness. 🌟 Event Highlights:
✨ Meet & Greet with DeAndra Davis – Get your book signed and hear insights from the author about her inspiration and writing journey.
✨ Sensory-Friendly Activities – Experience hands-on, interactive stations designed to engage all senses and create an inclusive environment.
✨ Autism and Neurodivergent Awareness & Empowerment – Learn about autism representation in literature and how we can foster more inclusive spaces for neurodivergent individuals. 🎟️ Reserve your spot now! Space is limited. Books will be available for purchase on-site. About the Brilliant Author DeAndra Davis: DeAndra Davis DeAndra Davis is New York–born and Florida-bred. She’s a hopeless musical theater nerd (Wicked is definitely her favorite), a perpetual student and teacher, and always trailed by a kid or a dog because she has way too many of both. She has an opinion for everything, an argument ready, and a hug for everyone, and she thinks you should, too. All the Noise at Once is her debut novel. DeAndra can be found on most socials @DeAndraWrites. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ About our Heal Together, Lead Together Program: Age Range: Adults 16 and up Program Description: This program offers a holistic approach to adult education and community empowerment. Designed for individuals aged 16 and up, this program includes a variety of initiatives including queer based art, creative writing, inclusive yoga and community panels. Each component is crafted to support personal growth, foster creative expression, and build a strong sense of community. Participants engage in transformative experiences that encourage healing, leadership, and advocacy, all while celebrating and amplifying diverse voices and experiences. Rohi’s Readery is an award winning social justice driven children's bookstore and learning center dedicated to critical literacy that promotes inclusivity and diversity by honoring historically marginalized communities.
