Writing on the Wall, representing the people of Liverpool, is honored to present "A Life of Rhyme – A Tribute to Benjamin Zephaniah" at the Palm House in Sefton Park, Liverpool. This event pays homage to Benjamin Zephaniah, a pioneering dub poet, lyricist, musician, and revolutionary who left an indelible mark before his passing in December 2023 at the age of 65. Liverpool held a special place in Zephaniah's heart, particularly during the 1980s when he found solace in the city's support following a challenging period. Renowned as the 'People's Poet,' Zephaniah's influence transcended boundaries, bringing poetry to the masses with his infectious energy and profound connections. The tribute, led by Co-Director Madeline Heneghan and Citizen of Honour Levi Tafari, will feature performances by esteemed poets such as Michael Rosen, Amina Atiq, Blue Saint, and Claire Beerjeraz, all carrying forward Zephaniah's lasting legacy. Join us on May 9, 2024, at 7pm for this special evening celebrating the life and work of a true icon. Admission is by donation, with a suggested contribution of £5, and all proceeds will support the Vegan Society and Inquest.

安菲爾德一直是個不錯的球場。科普將氣氛帶入了其他看台。現在他們的兩個看台已經擴大了，我一直擔心氣氛可能會消失，特別是在上層的時候，但經歷了幾個座位位置後，我不得不說它和以前一樣好。可能是歐洲最好的體育場之一。

這些年來，外觀也得到了很大的改善，我們參觀了體育場，感覺非常好。每個角落都有音頻導覽。 😃

我不是披頭士迷，但是經過這次遊覽仍然會被他們的傳奇故事所感動。而且發現，有些耳熟能詳的歌曲，竟然是他們寫的。欣賞lenon的才華，更喜歡麥卡特尼的溫柔與克制。適個不錯的遊覽地。

這個教堂外表平平無奇，進入裏面之後真的會被驚艷到，一進去就感覺很漂亮，裏面超級大，建議周日來，這裏每周日都會有唱詩班，可以跟着本地人一起祈禱，感受一下氣氛
