Portrait/Life Thursday AM is an art class that offers an opportunity to explore the world of painting and drawing from the model. The class takes place every Thursday from 9.30am to 12.30pm at the new venue, No.5 Duke Street, in West Barns. Led by experienced artist and tutor Anna Wimbledon, this small class of seven individuals within a larger art school class of 12 provides a focused and intimate learning environment. Over the course of seven sessions, participants will have the chance to work from a live model, honing their skills and techniques. Additionally, three sessions will be dedicated to developing the works created or pursuing personal artistic projects. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced artist, the tuition is tailored to suit your individual needs and abilities. For beginners, this class offers a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of art, teaching you how to accurately observe and depict form, tone, and color.
