This event is a celebration of TIN* (trans, intersex, nonbinary, and other genderqueer identities) stories, a space to share our struggles & create a positive trans narrative that inspires everybody to embrace their true selves We have created 3 types of tickets: Regular, Subsidised & Superhero. REGULAR TICKET: Dorm or Campsitecovers your accommodation: a dorm bed in a TransFest-privatised dorm or a spot at the campsite. Please note other hostel guests will be present on the premises. Dorm beds include bedding. For camping, you need to bring your whole camping set-up.covers your food (one vegan dinner on Saturday, two breakfasts of porridge and fruit on Saturday and Sunday, snacks)*partially covers the expenses of the Volunteer Team running the event**covers the van rental for the whole group (rides for those without a car)covers admin costs***SUPERHERO TICKET: Dorm or Campsitecovers all the same as a REGULAR TICKET but it is more expensive so that you can support a TIN* climber in need in joining the weekend on a Subsidised ticket SUBSIDISED TICKET: Dorm or Campsitecovers all the same as a REGULAR TICKET but it is cheaper thanks to those able to purchase Superhero ticket. PROGRAMME DRAFT:Friday evening: meet, greet, drinks at the Hostel Saturday & Sunday morning: breakfast & coffee, then we head out to climb together!**** Saturday evening: dinner for all, as well as collaborative, community-led discussions, presentations, etc. If you'd like to share your thoughts, your art, lead a discussion, etc., be sure to get in touch with the organisers ASAP :) * FOOD:One dinner and two breakfasts will certainly be provided. All food will be vegan. The exact extent of how many snacks we'll be able to give outside of that will depend on how many Superhero tickets are purchased. We'll let you know what we have ahead of the event but just in case you need/want more, there is a supermarket and a bakery a walking distance from the hostel. ** VOLUNTEER COSTS:We aim to at least partially cover the travel costs for our Volunteers coming from afar. On top of that, if the budget permits, we will provide a stipend of up to 100EUR per day of work. Budgeting priority is given to supporting Participants in need in getting their tickets. The more Superhero tickets are sold, the bigger the chance we can also support the Volunteer Team. *** ADMIN COSTS:eventbrite fees, civil liability insurance for the Volunteer Team, website hosting, bank fees **** CLIMBING:We will head out into the Forest and propose forming level-cohesive groups. Each group will receive the support of a Volunteer experienced in Fontainebleau climbing. Please note this is not a guided climbing event. You are free to join in with the proposed itinerary and activities or do your own thing :) In case of rain, we will propose alternative indoor and outdoor activities. (We might be able to provide paid-for access to a nearby climbing gym which is to be confirmed.) Please make sure to carry apropriate travel insurance which covers the practice of bouldering.The TransFest is organised by the L'Association Internationale des Bleausardes, a French nonprofit known for organising the Women's Bouldering Festival. The TransFest's capacity is capped at 60 people as no bigger events can take place in the Forest during the spring due to animal breeding season.
