The vibrant dance community of 5Rhythms Ecstatic Dance St. Albans has been passionately practicing this form for many years. Now, they have exciting news to share - they have opened their doors to different 5Rhythms teachers for the next six months, including the renowned Ajay Rajani, who will be teaching in December 2023. Ajay Rajani is an accredited teacher of the 5Rhythms, having trained with Jonathan Horan, son of Gabrielle Roth, in 2014. With his diverse background and a strong foundation in seated meditation, Ajay brings a unique perspective to his teaching, encouraging participants to embody the present moment and let their bodies guide their movements.

Whether you are a seasoned dancer or have never stepped foot on a dance floor, 5Rhythms offers a warm and inclusive space for you to explore and embrace your body's natural rhythms. No matter your age, background, or experience level, this transformative practice goes beyond physical exercise, allowing you to tap into your body's innate wisdom and gain a deeper understanding of yourself. The 5Rhythms - Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness - represent different energetic qualities within us all, and in a 5Rhythms class, you will be guided through these rhythms, unlocking a wide range of emotions, sensations, and movements. This powerful practice not only helps release pent-up emotions and reduce stress but also fosters a sense of community and connection as you dance together with others in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Join the 5Rhythms Ecstatic Dance St. Albans community on December 2, 2023, at Aboyne Lodge School, located on Etna Road, St. Albans, AL3 5NL. The class will start promptly at 7:00 pm, so please arrive at 6:45 pm. There is a small car park available for your convenience.
