On this holiday afternoon sail, you'll board in Sausalito and start with a tour along its scenic waterfront. It was the proposed site for Hearst's castle, and later the cradle of some of America's most cherished music, including Fleetwood Mac's Rumors and Otis Redding's "Sittin' by the Dock of the Bay" (yes, this Bay!).
Not to spoil too much, as this cruise will take you all around the Bay, and the stories expand even more as you get closer to Angel Island, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, and San Francisco.

Schooner Freda B
 is a sea kind 80' gaff rigged coastal schooner, making her one of the San Francisco Bay's most comfortable and traditional vessels to sail. Experience the romance of yesteryear with a local, licensed Captain and Professional Crew.

Boarding: 3:45 pm
Departure: 4:00 pm
Return: 6:00 pm

On Deck Bar and Provisions
California Beer: $ 8 per can
House Bubbles and Mimosas: $12 per glass
Napa / Sonoma / Import Wine: $14 per glass
Adult Coffee or Hot Chocolate: $14 per mug
Salt Point Cocktails: $14 per can
Premium Non-Alcoholic: $5 per bottle/can/mug
We accept cash, credit cards, and Apple/Google Pay. No outside beverages are permitted aboard. We encourage our guests to support local 
SAUSALITO RESTAURANTS
 before boarding or upon return.
Parking and Location
Please plan on arriving early to find parking and the boat.

" is searchable on Google/Apple Maps. That is the location for boarding in Sausalito.
For parking, we recommend the 
municipal lots
 surrounding Sausalito Yacht Harbor. Parking cost is per hour, and the closest are 
Parking Lot #2
 and 
Parking Lot #3
 (searchable on maps).
Once parked, walk north towards The Spinnaker restaurant. You'll soon come across a wooden boardwalk that leads to our dock (Slip 465). Look for the two red masts!

SAUSALITO DIRECTIONS
What to Wear
Sailing on the San Francisco Bay offers ever-changing views and exciting microclimates. Weather can change in a minute. Windbreaker, warm base layer, gloves, hat, scarf, sunglasses, and comfortable shoes are strongly encouraged. NO HIGH HEELS!!
Restroom
Freda B has a restroom on board. The restroom is available one at a time. Prior to sailing, we recommend the 
on-shore facilities (link)
 near municipal parking lot #2.
Tickets
Advanced reservation is required for all passengers, including babes in arms. Passengers 17 and under must be accompanied and always supervised by an adult. Full names are required for all passengers.
Tickets are transferable up to 48 hours prior to sail. The new name and contact information associated with the ticket are required.
Groups of 6 or more
Groups of 6 or more are encouraged to consider a private charter on San Francisco Bay:
CIMBA - 32' Grand Banks, downtown Sausalito, 2-10 guests
FREDA B - 80' Schooner, downtown Sausalito, 2-38 guests
For Your Safety
Freda B is a United States Coast Guard (USCG) inspected vessel and complies with all the latest regulations including personal floatation devices (PFDs), handrails, raft, CPR/First Aid trained crew, Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certified crew, and disinfectant/sanitization standards.
Freda B follows any and all USCG and Marin County Guidelines regarding any health crisis the county may be experiencing.
Weather
Sailing on the San Francisco Bay is weather-dependent. We sail in most weather, including cold, wind, fog, and light showers. On occasion, we will need to reschedule a sail due to extreme wind or rain. If this is necessary, you will usually be notified within 24-48 hours of the scheduled sail.
If the Captain must cancel due to weather, our sales team will work with you to reschedule or refund your order. The Captain and Crew monitor the most sophisticated weather channels to make every effort to bring you information in the timeliest manner. We apologize in advance if the weather complicates any special occasion plans.
Guest Reschedule / Cancellation
Due to the popularity of this sail, we do not offer guests an option to cancel or reschedule within 7 days
. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 1 week in advance. To cancel or transfer tickets, please email
