About your teacher Lauren
Lauren's yoga journey has unfolded across Southeast Asia and India, where she lived and studied yoga intensively. Completing her 200-hour mixed-style Yoga Teacher Training, she went on to a 300-hour Advanced Ashtanga Vinyasa Training. Alongside this, she became certified in Reiki Levels 1 & 2 and undertook a 10-day Vipassana silent meditation retreat.
Lauren states "During this transformative time, I shared a piece of my soul teaching in various yoga retreats and studios, whilst nurturing my love for self-study and travel. I immersed myself in both Hindu and Buddhist traditions, embracing their philosophies and practices. I also practiced sewa - selfless service - volunteering at an ashram for two months in the holy place of Rishikesh, the birthplace of yoga.The lessons I’ve learned from this ancient wisdom are endlessly profound, and it’s a privilege to share this knowledge in my classes."
