Il corso di Stefano Torriani ci guida attraverso la scoperta del disegno naturalistico con le matite colorate per rappresentare il mondo che ci circonda. Riprodurre un albero, una foglia o un animale ci aiuta a rallentare, almeno per un po’, il corso del tempo, mentre vediamo scorrere le mine colorate sul foglio bianco. Stefano Torriani è nato a Bergamo e cresciuto a San Pellegrino Terme. Dall’infanzia condivide con il padre la passione per la natura, conosciuta nelle escursioni in Valle Brembana e limitrofe, e la sua raffigurazione. Dopo gli studi al Liceo Artistico di Bergamo sviluppa negli anni la propria personale tecnica di disegno naturalistico, che si avvale solo di matite colorate e che si concentra esclusivamente su flora e fauna osservate sulle Orobie. Come illustratore professionista ha all’attivo numerose pubblicazioni e mostre monografiche ed altri testi e materiale informativo, dalle riviste alla cartellonista, edito da parchi naturali, aree protette e diversi territori a vocazione turistica ed escursionistica in tutto l’arco alpino. Tiene da anni corsi di disegno sia nelle scuole sia per adulti e organizza incontri divulgativi di taglio naturalistico. Il corso si rivolge a chiunque desideri avvicinarsi al disegno naturalistico anche senza esperienze pregresse. Oltre ad illustrare la tecnica di disegno e coloritura, Torriani fornirà informazioni sull’importanza di ogni elemento naturale per il benessere ecosistemico e la biodiversità, partendo appunto da piccoli, quanto importanti insetti quali le api, fondamentali ad esempio per la ricchezza dei prati e di conseguenza del foraggio dei pascoli, del quale beneficiano latte e formaggio. INAUGURAZIONE MOSTRA ECCELLENTI IN VAL BREMBANA I capolavori restaurati di Cusio e Mezzoldo 19 ottobre - 17 novembre 2024 Salone Papa Giovanni XXIII - Curia Vescovile di Bergamo Due straordinarie “macchine” devozionali vengono esposte nell’antico Palazzo Episcopale, dove fervono i lavori per il nuovo Museo Diocesano: il polittico di Cusio del bergamasco Antonio Boselli, oggetto di un integrale intervento di restauro e la pala di Mezzoldo, dipinta da Lattanzio da Rimini nel 1505, di cui viene presentato il recupero della cimasa in attesa della prosecuzione dei lavori sulla tavola principale. Dal confronto tra le due opere con un terzo polittico proveniente dall’abbazia di Sant’Egidio in Fontanella, nascono riflessioni che documentano il passaggio che avviene anche a Bergamo a fine Quattrocento dai complessi apparati lignei strutturati in una sequenza di figure, alla tavola unica che contiene in una sola scena tutti i personaggi, posti in reciproca relazione. La mostra è promossa da Fondazione Adriano Bernareggie da Le Terre dei Baschenis / arte e storia nelle antiche valli Averara e Stabina con il patrocinio dell'Ufficio dei Beni Culturali Ecclesiastici della Diocesi di Bergamo. Languages evolve through cultural exchange, and Bulgarian is no exception. Born into a multicultural family, Irene has long been fascinated by this dynamic. Her talk will explore the influence of languages such as French, German, and Turkish on Bulgarian, tracing the journey of foreign words into everyday use. We will explore together a visually illustrated dictionary of these linguistic borrowings, along with a brief history of their origins and adoption into the Bulgarian language. About Irene Caputo Irene is a service designer with Italian and Bulgarian roots, currently based in Paris. Her expertise spans design across various domains, from systemic thinking, product to service and interior design, graphic facilitation and illustration.
