we had the good fortune of having Mr. Tommy Kennedy giving us a guided tour of this small amazing museum. It was an amazing experience and learnt so much.
With the hurling final coming up this Sunday we had 5 very excited children to go to the museum but unfortunately it was closed. Very disappointed children.. No sign on the door
If your in Thurles and have time, I highly recommend this tour. It is small and short enough to do a self guided one, but there is plenty to interest fans of the GAA.
Museum is located in Thurles town centre. It's small but interesting and part of the Tipperary GAA shop. Entrance is via the shop. Not badly priced...some interesting pieces and exhibitions

Trip to Tipp
Great shop for the Tipp supporter where everything you need is on display and reasonable. Great photos to see
