HISTORICAL FOUNTAIN

This fountain located in Piazza Cavour, was rebuilt in 1543 and again in 1807 and provided drinking water for the city until 1912. The central drum that holds the pinecone is from the Roman era.

Lovely historical fountain which was once visited by Leonardo di Vinci! Also the water is drinkable and fresh.

Nice Fountain

This is a nice little fountain with water still flowing from the taps at the older Piazza. Good for a photo stop while visiting the surrounding buildings on the square.
