Definitely worth a visit
The site is beautiful and makes you wonder about who built it. Take a warm jacket and something waterproof, just in case.

It is incredible that the Romans would build a full sized temple in such an inaccessible location. The remains and limited reconstruction are not accessible, but there is very good exhibition nearby ...

Not much to see, but full of history
When I first went up the Puy-de-Dome in 1975 this was nothing but a pile of rubble. It has now been tidied up, partially restored and there is a very interesting museum nearby. Worth a visit to learn ...
