Worth the drive to see the area
We went in June so the lighthouse was not open, but still the area is nice and quiet. The only caveat is that it seems like a long drive but it was nice at the end. There is no chance to miss it (if...

Beautifully restored lighthouse on the North Channel
This is worth the 5-6 minute drive north of Gore Bay at the end of the road. There is an explantory plaque and a great view of the North Channel

we LOVE this place
we returned three time while on vacation. The lighthouse was not open but the surrounding is so nice and tranquil.

Manitoulin island lighthouses
We were very lucky when we arrived and a worker had opened up for us and we had a look around. Has been closed for 5 years but after some Reno’s is being opened again
