Well worth the effort.
We weren't sure if the path to the wheel would still be snowy/impassible but on the day we visited there was blue skies and the path was clear. We were met by a friendly Ranger who gave us some advice...

An amazing must.
This was a very beautiful, spiritual, and relaxing spot. It's about a 3 mile hike round trip so it adds to it. Wear comfortable shoes because although it's maintained it's uneven.
