    Very Southern Mansion, for the once huge sugar plantation, parts of the old sugar mill can also bee see, be sure to eat at El Chico and ask for Nancy! Best little server in the state of Texas .... 33 ...

    Check online first, as the Abner Jackson Plantation site is only open a limited time each month.

    We drove to the site (which actually at the Park and Ride parking area) and it was not open on any Sundays. There is a bridge leading to the site but they built a shed on it, which is locked. I think ...
