Abandone, nothing but the building.
Except for the story as told by our local tour guide, there is not much that indicates the former glory/importance of this structure.

Derelict Desmond
Looks imposing as you walk up to it but that is as good as it gets, information board gives you a bit of its history but when you look in the windows it looks derelict.

What is unusual about this Castle is that its right in town amongst the houses & shops. The walk to get to the castle was amazing , Kinsale is a very pretty town. The castle does not look very impre...
