Amazing architecture
FRANEKER was home to an old university that Napoleon closed in 1810. It is a cross from the deaths oldest working planetarium. It was a center of early Frisian culture.

Beautiful temporary building
Very impressive building, in the middel of the very old and picturesque city of Franeker. The stained glas windows. The window sills and steps.

Mostly interesting from the outside
A very nice building in the old centre. Especially the outside is worth seeing, but if you have some spare time in the afternoon, have a peek inside. Entrance is free, and one gets to see some nicely ...

Interesting Old Building
Not a lot to see inside this old but very beautiful building. Some art works and furniture, and access to a few municipal rooms still in use today. It's free and worth browsing but won't take long.
