Cape Merry Battery

Good visit

Our tour brought us here for a short walk to the walls. It's a beautiful place and the beluga whales were in the water.

In the Summer you can watch the belugas from here

But the history of this point is boring...and I was a history major! Really, it's a windswept point with a couple historical points of interest that aren't interesting.

Saw it from a distance overseen by armed Parks Canada guards

This is a little pyramid in the distance. We couldn't get too close because there be bears around. So, we had a whistle-stop view of the fort and battery from a safe distance.
