Don’t miss a trip to Aleppo if you visit Syria, it was the largest city in Syria before the war broke out. Unfortunately, the grand Mosque and the Bazaar are in ruin, but the citadel still reminded us the glory days. this formidable structure dominate the sky line, and it is a must visit destination when you visit the city .

阿勒頗城堡原是古巴比倫王國和亞述王國神廟的所在地，與阿勒頗城一樣歷史悠久，據説這是世界上較為古老的城堡，曾經歷過希臘人、拜占庭人、阿尤布王朝等統治時期。雄偉壯觀的阿勒頗古城堡，聳立在城中心一座錐形的小山上，周圍是一條深20米，寬30米的壕溝。從溝底到城牆頂端共65米高。從城牆底部至壕溝成傾斜48度的光滑的石麪，右城堡以其險要堅固而聞名於世。現在有些老城區裏的房子還保留有通向城堡的隧道，是為了在敵人入侵城內後能夠進行躲避。

敘利亞共和國西北部的阿勒頗，是中東最古老的城市之一，也是著名的旅遊勝地。過去它是美索不達米亞平原通向地中海的交通要站，16世紀時又成為東西貿易往來的必經要地。傳說古時候，猶太人的始祖亞伯拉罕曾來到阿勒頗，他把自己奶牛上擠出的牛奶，分發給當地的窮人
算是經歷戰爭摧殘的風景吧飽經風霜荒涼卻也不會讓人感到絕望也不知道自己出於什麼心理會想要再去看看
很有歷史意義的古城堡，保護得還算可以，開發還有待提高。
特別喜歡山坡上的那座城堡比較莊嚴，建築宏偉
